My children make me laugh ALL the time. They just have the biggest personalities and such interesting views of the world. I'm sure almost all of us have heard the saying "Kids say the darndest things" and my oldest son is no exception. He is 4 years old now but when he was 3 he said something that still to this day makes me laugh when I think about it and I thought I'd share it with you all.
I was making him dinner one night, soup and a grilled cheese sandwich. I gave him his food and then went back to the stove to make myself a sandwich and he asked me what I was making. I said to him "I'm making a grilled cheese sandwich just like yours." He gave me a funny look for a minute after that then finally said, "No...I don't like 'girl' cheese, only 'boy' cheese!" He still calls it a 'boy' cheese sandwich sometimes.
Have your children said something like this that just made you laugh out loud? Please share it!

Aww, what a cute story! My kids have said so many funny things through the years that it's hard to pick out just one or two of them. Your dinner story reminded me especially of something my son said when he was about seven. I was working two jobs and trying to raise five kids at the same time. One afternoon, I stopped at the supermarket to grab something quick for dinner because I only had a few hours between one job and the next. I decided I'd do a 'frozen snack' dinner, and picked up a bunch of different microwaveable things that I knew they'd eat - things I normally would refuse to buy because they're so horrible healthwise. We stood at the register and my son looked over my purchases and said, "You know, the only time you cook a good dinner is when you don't have time to cook." I nearly spluttered out loud.
