Modesty aside, I am a very good and sweet daughter. I am the eldest among 4 and my parents will always say that I never gave them any difficuties. They said I was easy to raise as a baby, as a gradeschooler and as a teen. I am a very obedient daughter and my parents (and siblings) are always my first priority. I am now married and live oceans apart from them but my presence is always felt. I give them all the support that they need- emotionally, spritually and even financially.
We chat thru instant messenger every single day. I always tell them how much I love them.
As for being sweet, I guess I am too. Even when I am too old,I still hug and kiss them whenever possible. I send them thoughtful gifts on their birthdays and holidays. I laugh with them, cry with them and share my dreams with them. I have always been thankful to God for giving me a great mom and dad. They are not perfect parents but for me, they will always be the best.

hi there, having a sweet and a good daughter is a great achievement for a parent. this only shows how good a parent is in bringing up their children. I know your parents are really proud to have you as their daughter as much as you are grateful that you have them as your parents. indeed, this is something that we should always thank God because not all parents are like the ones that was given to us. :)

hi there, i guess your parents are not that showy with their emotions that's why they tend to act that way. a parent will always love their children it is just that some are afraid to show their feelings. just let them know that you love them. thanks for the post and wish you all the best!!!

oh!! I could say, I am a responsible and loving daughter. I am concern with how my parents are doing. I am living far away from them. I can seldom talk to them because of the distance but they are always in my prayers every day and night. That's the best thing that I could give them. I know that God will keep them safe.

I haven't lived at home for many, many years, but I am still really close to my parents. I talk to them at least once each week, and they are on my friends list on Facebook! They live 2.5 hours away so we don't see as much of each other as we would like, but manage to visit every month or so. They usually come here since it's easier for them - I have three small children to buckle into car seats for the long drive. I'm both a Daddy's girl and a Mama's girl. Lucky me!

I am close enough to my parents, but I don't think I am a sweet daughter for them, because sometimes I become a rebel and never listen to them. It is not that I don't love them, I love them so much, but I have enough with being obedient, and if by me being not obedient to them then I would not be considered as a sweet daughter, than, Yeah, I am not a sweet daughter of my parents, but I can guarantee you for sure that I am a good daughter. LOL

hi there, thanks for the post. i think in every child's life they tend to be rebellious and hat is really normal as long as you don't over do it and eventually damage your future. :)

as like you, I am also sweet to my parents, but in a different way I think. My father is always abroad, and the only times we are talking are on chats and on the phone, but this does not change anything. When he is here, I am making him feel how much I love him, and I am making him feel that I am still his baby girl... even if I am already twenty two. As for my mom, she is my best friend. I make sure that we talk always and she knows everything I am doing. I rarely go out with other friends, it's always... mom and me.
hmmm... but honestly, I don't get to say i love you to my mom always... maybe because she is always here with me... but of course I know time is short. this is why, even if i'm shy sometimes, I am telling her and especially, I am making her feel that I do
