in what way do you serve your God?

I do go to church every week, and there are times when I go to the events like the ladies group, youth group, worship practice etc. I am the assistant youth leader, on the worship team and I volunteer at my church youth camp. I do everthing in the name of the Lord. I also write a blog about faith: wayofhope.net check it out if you are interested.

I serve God willingly because it is one of the ways how I reciprocate His love for me. It is because He first loves me. I serve God because I just want to, not because of wanting his gifts etc. It is the Giver that matters. By loving your neighbour as yourself, yes even unfriendly, unworthy people, treating them with respect. I have learnt that no one is perfect, until you fall in love with them.

The best way to serve the Almighty God is to obey His Rules & Regulations, offer prayers to Him regularly and not harm Humanity. I do all this.

I serve God by praying to him. I serve God by thanking Him for the beautiful life He has given me. I serve God by following my peaceful religion. I serve God by not creating feuds between friends and enemies. I serve God by teaching people of taking care of His creations. I serve God by being loyal to my partner. And ... I serve God by obeying Him without any questions'.

My way of serving God is to recognize myself as His creation. Only the Creator knows the purpose of what He created, as to an Inventor to his inventions. Each one of us has his own unique purpose that our Creator has prepared for us. By praying for wisdom and abiding in Him, our purpose in life will be revealed to us and in that way we will discern how we may be able to serve Him according to His will and our purpose. God Bless!

God is great! Helping others is serving god indirectly.

If there is a higher being called God or Allah or Christ or Yahweh or Jehovah or anyone else, I am quite sure that there is no need to 'serve' him. If he is your creator, then I am sure he didn't do it to make people serve him like slaves. I just believe in being good and doing good and I don't really need a religion outside this definition. The creator can burn me in hell if he pleases for this!
