Kids, made you mad, made you laugh

Have your kids ever done something bad that made you mad but you also saw humor in the situation and had to make yourself not laugh? Last year 2 of my kids were outside and I went to check on them. I found them with ashes all over themselves. From their heads to their toes. I was mad because I couldn't believe they had gotten into them and for getting so dirty. They usually don't get into things. But it was so funny, they looked hilarious. It was pretty hard to get out of their hair though. This summer a really funny thing happened. We live in a rural area on one acre. My three kids were playing outside and I went to check on them. I found all 3 of them, ages 5, 4, and 2 1/2 completely naked on the slide from the swing set. I said, "What are you doing?" They said, "We are just playing the bum game!" I told them they weren't allowed and to get their clothes back on, it was really, REALLY funny though!

Many, many times! I don't have kids though but I have nieces and a nephew. A couple of months back, I was babysitting my 2-year-old nephew. Was supposed to make him sleep but he ran out of the room. Then I heard sounds of water outside. I got suspicious and went out to check. Well, he managed to open the refrigerator door and took out a carton of juice. He unscrewed the cover and was pouring the juice all over the floor! Boy was I mad! I quickly grabbed the carton from him before he could empty it and carried him somewhere else so that he wouldn't slip on the wet floor. But after that, when I think back of the way he was emptying the carton and the expression on his face, I can't help laughing! I was also wondering what prompted him to do such a thing! Really, we don't know what's going on in kids' minds.

Have they ever!! When my 7 year old son was about 3, he got really upset with because he couldn't go outside to play, so, he went into his bedroom and, you won't believe this, but he pooped in his toy box!! I was so angry at him, but at the same time, I couldn't help but laugh. It was like he was saying," well ....on you." There are plenty of other things my kids have done that both angered me and made me laugh at the same time, but none quite as funny as that.

my nephew did that to my sister too, he had a car toddler bed and took off one of the wheels and pooped in it. But he also threw his toys all over the room and colored on the walls so she didn't find it very funny!

Ah yes, Naomi, she's a bit stubborn. She keeps taking toys in her backpack to school and extended day care. It's not allowed and they keep catching her. She had this new toy she was really proud of and she took it one day. The day care teacher caught her and confiscated it. Naomi went into her cabinet and un-confiscated it. Unfortunately she got caught. When my husband told me about this I laughed so hard because I would have done that too when I was little. But we had to keep a straight face when we were talking to her and it was so hard.

I think that a sense of humour is essencial when you have kids. I don't usually get too angry with them, but they do try my patience a lot! The older two are almost 17 months apart on age and they get into a lot of mischief together. I get together with my pastor's wife each week for a Bible study. She comes to my house. A couple of weeks ago I set them down in front of a Veggietales movie and then went out to the kitchen and my company. About five minutes later I heard her start to laugh. I turned around and saw my children, stark naked running around the living room. When they saw us watching they started saying, "I'm naked; I'm naked......" At first I was mortified, but seconds later I started laughing till the tears ran down my face.

Lol that is funny. Good thing you live in a rural area. I dont have any kids but I have two nephews and once they poured some flour into flower pots and made a big mess. I asked them "what are you doing?" i was starting to get mad. And they said "We wanted to grow pretty flowers for you" and I burst into a laugh and had to explain the difference between flour and flowers.

I am still single but I am always told by my colleagues the various things about their children. Some of them said that they were so angry that they wanted to hit their naughty children heavily. Most of them felt that their lungs will be bombed when they knew what their children had done. On the other hand, some other colleagues also felt quite relaxed when they saw the smiles of their children even they had been very tired in their offices on the day time. I think it must be complex when you are facing with your child. You have to try your hard to make him or her stop cry and in most suitations, you failed. You always looks tired for you have to wake up in the mid-night to feed the baby. You always complains of the trouble your child bring to you. However, you will believe that all you have done is worth it. There is no reasons at all. And if it must has an reason, perhaps the reason is that he or she is yours baby.

My daughter has such a temper that it can be really funny sometimes. One day, I was sitting in the kitchen chatting with a friend and my 8 yr old came out from her bedroom just furious. I told her to calm down and she was just going on and on, so I stood up, walked toward her and told her to go to her room until she could calm down. Well, she turned to stomp back into her room, so I sat back down. A minute later she came storming back out, I looked at her and she flipped me off with both hands and stormed back into her room slamming the door. I was so mad!!! Unfortunately, I also found it extremely funny and had to wait 5 minutes before going to yell at her. KIDS!!!
