We'll I had 2 credit cards before which I regret not taking good care of because I lend them to a member of my family and they sky rocket my account so I just said forget I am not going to pay it up nowadays I regret what I did because my credit score is not as good as it once was so How could I end up improving my credit score? Right now I have a very low score and I would like to improve my score to 600 or higher could someone help me out with this. I would also like to pay my accounts that I didnt pay in the past just so I could improve my credit score because I am thinking of buying a house in future but I would like to have a very good credit score which I know its going to take a few years for that to happen. I hope someone here could help me out with the information on how I could make payments monthly to old accounts and improve my credit score monthly. I thought about debt programs but I don't know if they would help improve my scores.

one of the easiest way to improve your credit rating is well known secret and the bank don,t want you to know.if your have poor credit and it need to improve in a hurry ask a parent,or family member or close friend to give you a piggyback ride.what that means is they let you join in their good credit rating you ride on their backs for a while.if your friend don,t have good credit they are not the one to ask.they have to let you be added on their account thats how it works.they don,t have to have a card issue to you.you do not ever charge anything you get the benifits of good credit your name is on the account and will soon show up as good standing.if you are trying to improve your credit or need to establish credit.

YOU NEVER LET ANYONE USE YOUR CREDIT CARD!!! that's a big no no. what were you thinking?? and then you didn't pay the bill? you pay the bill and take that person to cout to get the money back. 600 is definitely not enough to buy a house and get a decent mortgage. it's going to take a few years for your credit to be where it needs to be so you can buy a house. you just have to pay off your bills and start from there.

You must pay those old accounts off. They are on your credit report as negative items. If you don't pay them off, they will stay on there forever dragging your account down. I'm sure you have been contacted by the companies or their collection agencies. Get in touch with whoever has been contacted you. Make payment arrangements and then keep the payment schedule. Do not miss a single payment or it will go back on your account as a negative. Once they are paid off make they remove the negative from your account. During this time, if you have any other credit accounts, keep payng them. Do not get behind for any single reason. Every late payment ruins your credit rating. Don't go to a debt program. All they do is charge you to give the same advice I've given you. They set up the payment plan for you, then you pay them along with the credit card company every month. Which means you have less money to pay off the credit cards. This is the only way to improve your credit card score. There is no magic formula. Just pay what you owe and mnove on.

You are smart to do this. My husband and I are trying to do the same thing and intend to do a lot more to improve our scores after the first of the year. I know that it is very hard and I know that it will be a long road but I believe with a lot of persistence we can do it!

You won't improve your credit score until those old bills are paid off. Whatever bills you do have, you have to pay them on time (or even early). Some landlords and utilities report to the credit bureaus, at least when someone continually pays late or defaults. Have you ever looked at your credit reports? For each reporting entity, it will show how many payments are 30, 60, 90 or more days late. If you have not been making any payments on those credit cards, then they should show that way. They'll also show when they transfer to a collection agency, then they will begin showing how many payments are 30, 60, 90 days late. That all counts against you. Building a good credit record after having a bad one takes time.

Ok $2000 is nothing. Thats what you owe so you need to pay that off. If you want to make your credit score better here is how to do it: 1. make payments on that card that has $2000 on it of $300 dollars or more. Depending on how much you are making right now this might be difficult but every time you make a payment of $300 or more your score improves. 2. take out 1 or 2 new cards use them only a couple of times a month and pay them completely off every month. Ex. put a dinner bill of $40 on your card and that is it. Then when the bill comes pay this off. If you do this a few times with a few cards your score will improve. No do not do a debt program; I do not think you will even qualify if your only debt is $2000 but the debt programs only hurt your credit usually. good luck
