Some people notice this one, even me. 20 to 30 years ago when computers, Microsoft Office, and prints were not so common and you just write down on some piece of paper what you wanted to do like sending mails, doing some research, passing of assignment at school, or just jotting down of notes I noticed that their most of the people's writing back then were so nice, pretty and readable coz their hands were trained how to write legible every single day. But then now, due to those computer, keyboards, printers (Well, I'm not blaming it) people tend to type everything not write anymore and so our their hand writings is not that nice and pretty compare to those people back then coz they haven't use their hands to write at all times. Well, I myself has this problem and it is sucks. Do you really think that typing can affect our hand writings?

No I don't, but I do know that before you can blame computers for our bad hand-writing, you need to learn how to use grammar. Haha, just a joke. :P I don't think computers have any effect on out hand-writing, because our hand-writing has not differed in the amount of "badness" if you will, in any way since back when computers weren't as popular as they are now. Not to mention it's just not logical that moving your fingers around on something can make your hand-writing worse. That's like saying that touchhing anything for a long period of time can make your hand-writing malfunction. This is my opinion. :)

I do not know whether it is affecting my writing or not. One thing that it has already affected is the fact, that I prefer to type rather than write now. Also, I can see that I can type faster than I write!! Recently, I had to take a few exams which were written papers and I was struggling to write down my thoughts and was missing the keyboard to type it in!! :) Cheers! Ram

*lol* I noticed that as well. Back when I was in school/college, I'd notice that upon coming back to school after the summer break, I'd have to reacquaint myself with writing and it takes some time to get my handwriting back to its quality before the break. However, these days, since my work entails using a laptop almost 24/7, when I do have to hand-write something, I notice that my handwriting is not as legible as it used to be. So yes, probably, getting used to simply typing stuff up instead of writing them down by hand may affect one's penmanship. There is, after all, a theory of use and disuse, right?
