What do you prefer to eat most ripe or unripe mango?

Ripe. I really don't get to appreciate the taste of unripe mango. But there maybe an exception. Like eating the native way, with native foods, grilled tilapia ,etc, unripe mango & bagoong... Yumm

unripe mango, i like to eat with the shrimp paste or sometimes fish sause... sometimes, i also eat with spicy salt or vinegar...i like to eat for merienda, after lunch or dinner...

I love mangoes, and really like both the ripe and unripe mango to eat, really delicious. However, I prefer the ripe mangoes, especially if it is really sweet. I love eating it over the summer, quite refreshing and juicy to eat it.

I love them both. I prefer eating ripe mango after lunch and unripe mango as a mirienda.. heheh :]

both have their own importance. i do like ripe mangoes... because of its taste.. i used to be crazy about anything sweet, since my childhood, but unripe mangoes are highly enjoyable, if u theft them from a private garden, and tasting them with a bit of chilly powder and salt. U have started a discussion which can start salivation in a minute, Gud job.

i love both... unripe with shrimp paste and ripe as teh plain fruit or mixed with salads and desserts. yum

I like to eat deep ripe mango, the unripe one is just too sour

wether its ripe or unripe. its all yummy. mango is my favorite fruit aside from grapes. and no matter what type of mango is it,i would eat it. hehe

i like most the ripe mango ......it is very sweet ......compared with unripe because unripe mangoes are soar and they even damage teeth if we eat one then our teeth cannot eat ant other thing .and ofcourse in depends on ......nature of body..... they are more juicy and contains vitamin d.and dried strips are also very tasty ...........

i prefer the sweet ones. personally, i cannot stand the pungent/bitter taste of green mangoes. though my mom and sister can finish a few green mangoes in one sitting specially if the fruit was dipped in bagoong. and if you'll believe me, their faces have probably been immuned from such taste. usually, when individuals eat bitter/pungent fruits, it will show in their faces and expressions. but with my mom, her face is just blank.

I love the unripe one, and so is my husband. And we terribly miss mango in the philippines but unfortunately, we seldom find any of that kind here in Michigan. there are different kinds of mangoes around but its not the same as the ones we used to buy in Philippine wet markets. We miss the crunch and the sourness of the green mangoes. We love eating that with diced onions and tomatoes topped with spicy bagoong! YUM! I love the sweet ripe ones too. I like making mango smoothies out of it.

Hey there! I like them both.. I like eating unripe mango with bagoong. Very tasty with that sour pinch. LOL.. I'd prefer Indian mango for the unripe one.. I like Kinalabaw mango to eat when ripe.. Because it is so sweet and delicious.. Very juicy.. Happy posting!

I think I just responded to a similar discussion a few minutes ago. Anyway, here's what I said: Pwede both? I absolutely love mangoes whether green or ripe. There was a time I went to Zambales for an out-of-town shoot and I chanced upon a lady in the market that sells mangoes at 10 pesos a kilo! I went nuts! I wanted to buy the entire "kaing" but I was worried about bringing them all back to manila. So I just bought five kilos but I kept thinking about buying the entire "kaing" while I was travelling back to Manila. Sayang talaga.

I love unripe mangoes... with alamang or bagoong and patis with sili.. yum yum.. fresh from the tree.. whenever i buy mangoes i willsmell it first.. i want the sour smell of it.. makes me drool.. hehe
