To be right brained means you are creative. You're into art and expressing yourself.
To be left brained means you like logic and facts. You might be more of a math person.
I think I'm right brained because I have a very unique personality, I have a lot of imagination, and overall I'm just really nutty. I do kind of like facts though, and logic, and solving problems, but I think I still lean towards right brained.

Well I have never been very creative even though I wished I could be. I have always been very logical and thinking but I am not a maths person. I do respond with feelings and I am very sensitive to other people's feeling. This combined with my logic and thinking means I am good at helping people get through emotional traumas. I think I should have gone into counseling. I thought of doing social work once but I was talked out of it when I was young by my mother who believed that I would not cope with the emotional trauma that such work can cause in the practitioner. I will never know now as I am not going back to find out.
I seem to have spent my life looking back and wondering if I made the wrong choices. I just do not know. Still someone once said there are no wrong choices just life experiences to learn from. I like that idea.

My understanding is that the degree of right/left brain dominance has most to do with the make-up of the corpus callosum, the organ which connects the hemispheres. In women this tends to be thicker and more complex, and the nett result is that most women can rightfully claim to be ambi-brained. In men the corpus tends to be thinner and less complex, which for some reason restricts them to mostly left-brain dominance. This is also backed up by the results of the MBTI personality instrument, which indicates that men are more likely to be Thinking types (logical, rational) and more women Feeling types (basing decisions on a sense of what is morally/socially right rather than logic and rationality).
It should be emphasised that this is talking in generalities, and there are many exceptions: a lot of women have less complex corpi than their gender as a whole and tend to left-brain dominance, and some men have much more complex corpi than their gender and tend to be ambi-brained.
There are many exercises in the meditation and concentration areas that can teach us to access our right-brain functions more easily.

Hai lynZ!!!!
I had fun today lol.
Umm, I'm right brained. But I'm partial for the left, so could I be both-brained? I'm a bit confused, but I am towards both.
And yes, you are really nutty

I'm right-brained, too. I found out recently, though, that I'm a little left-brained, too. That made me feel good, intelligent and kind of whole. I'm sorry I can't remember the program. If I find it, I'll post it.
I'm happy to be right brained! It makes life interesting, if not profitable.

I am bi. I use both sides of my brain. I am creative, maybe not so witty, but still a big goofball. But, the logical side of my brain is always working, as well. I get an idea in my head for a piece of jewelry but can't figure out exactly how to make it work.....left side steps up, and kicks right side's butt. Right side says, "Oh, Yeah, ok, I get it now. Thanks, buddy. " While my thoughts and my words don't play well together, my left brain and right brain play very well together.
