What do you hate about the Philippines?

Politics, pollution, crime and hunger, unfair opportunities, tax, war. Everything because of corrupt officials! Our government said our economy is up in 2008, what D!!! This is the worst year for us!

politics, corruption, government hypocracy.. and whenthey see a pinoy improving their lifestyle, instead of helping them up they will make issues that will make that pinoy lose what they have.. i think some of the government employees are selfish.. u really can not trust them.. they will only use people for their own welfare.. this is just my opinion..

I love the philippines but there are also things i hate about it. You're absolutely right, politics sucks here. Instead of helping the people, you'll find politicians bickering each other. Another thing i hate is lack of discipline of some fellow filipinos especially with regards to traffic rules. Another thing i hate is some people's habit of littering and spitting anywhere they want. It's just disgusting.

Philippines oh Philippines..pity Philippines..Is our country still have chance to go up? Hmmm..I really doubt it much. How can this country progress if the problem is in the officials alone? Its really hard. Politics is dirty and corruption is everywhere. Filipino are in hunger. Poor become poorer and rich become richer! I hate to see and heard every now and then about politics..and pity to the Filipinos how are in hunger and even dont have shelter. I really do hope that this country will be progressive as others. They have able to do it and then why this country cant? If all the officials will help hand in hand everything will be fine and that corruption will gone also. Im sure this country will be fine. Its really sad to see the situation of the Philippines..realy very sad

Every developing countries has some problems. Though Philippines is the developing country also it have some limitation. It is not the problem of the Philippines, it is problem of all developing countries. I hate Philippines is the unstable political condition another reason is the corruption

Politics, unsafe surroundings, and people thinking that anything foreign is superior

i have been in the philippines for quite some time now, i am also a student in the philippines.. what i hate about the philippines, is politics, corruption, polution and etc... the politicians will do everything to change the law, so that it will favor the elites.. they are not giving what the people should have, instead they are keeping it for themselves...the services that the public should have are lessened or sometimes its substandard..because of corruption...the officials in the government are busy chatting with the americans...(like the president) than solving the problems that country have...

Be it that I have some Filippino friends and family members, I will chime in a little on this. Why do many Filippinos support arranged marriages? There is no love involved in them, and I do not see how anyone can be happy in an arranged marriage. Another thing, why do most Filippinos feel like they are better than everyone else? Most of the Filippinos I meet think that they are far superior to everyone else, why? I do not think that I am superior to anyone, I do not see how anyone can be superior to anyone else? I like to believe that eveyone is the same, with some unique qualities, but we all bleed red and think and feel. We are all part of the same human race are we not?

I don't know much about the Philipines. What I do know has never been negative. And from your word, I still will not find it negative. But, I guess we all have negative feelings about our country from time to time.

I do not hate the Philippines. The things you hated also happen in other countries. Our country have been colonized by the Spaniards, Americans, and Japanese and each of those colonizers left something that Filipinos acquired. Don't blame Philippines for what is happening. Just learn to love your country and help in any way you can. Have a nice day!

Yes, politics, but I think this is just a piece of the cake. Some things makes this problem even worse... Lack of system, and the lack of laws that have teeth... these are the main problems I am seeing in our country... ... every country has these problems... but the main thing is, they know how to deal with them... they know how to follow... what else more i don't like? Traffic enforcers !!! I hate it when I they make my 30 minutes travel into an hour and a half... you see, when they are not there... everything is normal...

I agree with. politics here sucks. If you're popular, you could be elected. I also hate the traffic. I hate that I am paying a lot of taxes but could not see the improvvement with the country. But despite everything wrong in the Philippines. I still loce it. There's no other place in the world I want to be in. If I have a chance to be reborn, I would still choose to be Filipino

obviously as what the majority have responded, its the corruption.

Sorry I don't know much about Philippines. But different countries are confronted with various problems. Local citizens may all complaint a lot. Hope in the near future, such kind of problems can be solved.

i think politics is a problem of every counrty all over the world. for me it is the slowly fading away of the culture. a lot of teenagers of the new generations do not know how to respect. they are boastful and arrogant. a little of then knows how to kiss the hands of the elders and forgets to say po and opo. that is what i hate mostly in our country the philippines.

What I hate about my country, the Philippines, is the politics and rampant corruption... It's just sad the ordinary citizens have to suffer from it..

corruption that would be on my number 1, in my list,lol...its really disgusting knowing and seeing lots of government officials doing that, nnot thinking that its the people's money and they shouldnt think just for their selves and making thereselves rich, SHAME ON THEM.

i known little about your country, but the problem you meet is existed in most places, maybe in this situation, you have no ability to change it.
