I love Fraiser. It's funny and always makes me laugh. I don't think it was actually canceled. It ran for 11 years. Or, was it nine years? It wrapped up nicely. Anyway, one of my favorite short lived, canceled shows was Now and Again. It ran for barely a season and was about a guy who's brain had been used in a genetically superior body after his death. He became some kind of super agent. I can't remember any specific episodes, only that I really liked the show. It was sort of like Bionic Woman and ran in 1999-2000 season. What are your favorite canceled shows; shows that were so good but didn't last?

MOONLIGHT! It was about a vampire who was also a detective. but it was much more than that- it was the best show ever. it was on last year and CBS was very stupid and did not renew it. it was voted for people choice award for best sci-fi show. we had over 8 million viewers and they continued to grow even after the show was canceled because then it was being aired in other countries and THEY loved it too (and were very disappointed to find out it was already canceled and they had just started watching it. I think CBS was stupid not to give it a chance. Because now all these vampire books and movies are coming out. and here they were ahead of the game. I have not watched CBS since then and refuse to. If they cancel a show everyone loved and was gaining viewers - why bother watching anything there- they are just going to cancel it again- they didn't even care that it was popular. it won it's ratings for its time slot every night it was on- they are just Idiots and CBS is not worth watching anymore.. :) lol- sorry to vent.. but you asked a question that is still an open wound for me.. lol thanks for letting me vent!

Oh, no! They canceled Moonlight? That is very sad. I only got to see one or two of the episodes but really enjoyed it. I used to love watching Angel (and Buffy, too), but then they got canceled. Maybe Moonlight will get picked up on Lifetime or Sci Fi channel. Fingers crossed!

Well many, many fans campaigned for that to happen and we were shot down by network after network. IT was sooo disappointing. the DVD for the whole series should be out in January or something like that. you should get it. It is awesome- they didn't give total closure. But the ending was so - oh you have to see it. I cried my eyes out.. It's like watching a move that last for like 16 hours.. lol

There was one on for a short season that was about Singing Cops. It was hooky and silly and I loved it because of that.

I loved the series "F.R.I.E.N.D.S" Oh its was the one terrific show I've ever seen. I loved it. It made me laugh out loud and pretty good one liners..!!! I loved all the characters in there. It is really really sad that it got over. I really pray for it start again with new episodes.. There are only very few soaps that I like to watch..

I miss watching The O.C. I hate how it ended, it didn't make sense for a season finally. I love those kind of shows. now I love watching Gossip Girl and am glad they not stop making them.

One show that I really liked that got canceled was Jericho. It takes place in the small town of Jericho in post-apocalyptic America. It was a pretty good show and ran for 2 seasons until it got canceled. Another show that I liked was John Doe. It starred Dominic Purcell(Burrows in Prison Break). It was about a guy who lost his memory but knows a whole lot of stuff about everything.

I loved Jericho, pretty much one of the deepest shows I ever saw. Too bad they canceled it. It started to gain a twist and I liked that. There was an abundant number of ideas they could have included and Lennie portrayed Hawkins magnificently. Probably the greatest set of charismatic characters I ever saw. The plot was cool, as it gained twist and depth through the episodes. Too bad its over. And it would be hard to bring it back, tho Im still hopin they will do so eventually.

I love early edition too. Garry was so charismatic and the show had a point. Marissa was cool too. But I sort of understood why they had to end it. They were running out of ideas and the episodes started to get repetitive. Maybe they should have included new characters. Hard to tell... But definitely a loss.

Jericho! It was my favorite show and it's gone! I miss it too. I loved it. It was something I looked forward to every week. They brought it back for a short period (Season 2) and then took it off again. Must be not enough people watched the show to keep it going. I can't remember any others that they have cancelled.

I dont think that there werent fans, but it may be, that they would have to somehow find it the correct airing time and promote it a little. It had a lotta depth and i loved it too. I still watch it from time to time. Jericho was the best.

Yeah, that guy from Now and Again is now on that show Without a Trace. His name is Eric Close. Some of my favorites that were canceled were Like You Know, which was a comedy that co-starred Jennifer Grey (from Dirty Dancing) as a form of herself. It lasted about 12 episodes. I also liked Almost Perfect which starred Nancy Travis. Once they got rid of her TV boyfriend though, people stopped watching. And then there was Magnificent Seven, a show back in 1998-1999 that was based on the old movie. It also had that guy from Now and Again and Without a Trace.

They used to show the reruns on Lifetime. But the network dropped even showing the reruns after just a few months.

i liked the old "ripley's believe it or not" that had jack palance. the new guy is kind of "eh". i miss don kirschner's old rock show.they don't quite have live acts like that anymore. brimstone was pretty good, they never finished the series though,it just stopped immediately. and definetly the old "in search of" with leonard nimoy. yea,it was tacky in places..but still good.

Hmm, well ER is cancelling this season, and that was a great show that ran for like 13 years. I was really into Charmed at one point, and that cancelled, and I wasn't crazy about the last season of it either. Right now hubby and I are really into the old episodes of Lois and Clark. It ran for about 4 seasons. We bought the DVD sets, all but the last, and we watch the episodes every now and then. We need to be buying the last season shortly because we only have 2 episodes left to watch.

I was always a big fan of The OC. It's a shame it's gone but as soon as they killed off one of the main characters in Season 3 it started to lose it a bit. The first 2 seasons were brilliant though.

Myself I loved Jericho, The lone gunman, The IT crowd and probably McGywer hahaha. Those shows were really cool and I enjoyed them. The lone gunman ended really prematurely. The three characters were cool and I sort of liked them since the X-Files and the pilot was prophetic!!! It had a lot of humor too. Jericho had the depth, the best cast imaginable and the twist. Im sad that its on hold. The IT crowd is runing intermitently, but its good and funny. McGywer was my childhood hero... Nothing else to say about him. I sort of am thinking of Star Trek TNG, tho it did run for a long time, id like to see it continue. Cause the show was cool and I liked the characters... Especially Piccard.

I agree with you about Frasier. It had a good run, but I think it could have run longer. Since Frasier is a spin-off of cheers, and Frasier moved onto Chicago, then why not another spin-off called Niles & Daphne, or something? I would have LOVED to have seen the show continued with Niles, Daphne, and (the way it ended, so as not to spoil it for others... those who saw it to the end will knwo what I am talking about).

I liked Frasier too, I love watching repeats of old shows. I have a channel that shows episodes of London's Burning, I loved that when I was younger. Also Soldier, Soldier was good too.
