Maybe it happens when Lotters get 'Saturday night fever'? They all get their dancing shoes on

Hi there! This really happens here in mylot. I think it's because of the time gaps. But this has been an unusual day to be quiet. Usually when its nearing payout this is the time a lot of users post new discussions, cramming and working hard to reach payout. Maybe a lot have reached their payouts earlier and are just taking their time now posting. Like me, I'm not in a hurry cause I have reached it 2 weeks ago. Ciao!

Hmm, this must be right, because there are times too that I noticed no one is online. I just checked a site on time zones and I found out that when it's noon break here in the Philippines it's midnight on the eastern part of America. On the western part, I can't figure if it's earlier than midnight or later than midnight (because I haven't found any city from the western side), but either way, they could be sleeping too. As for India, they are 2 and a half hours earlier than Philippines, so at noon here, it's 9:30 there, way past the usual breakfast time. But then, I don't know what breakfast time is for them anyway. And besides, 9:30 is my breakfast time. So I guess that somehow answers the mystery why no one is around during lunch (here).

Yes, I have experienced that already. I think there are several reasons: first, our discussions may not be so interesting, second, there are so many people who start discussions at the same time, our friends or mylotters don't notice our discussions because we often respond to the top discussions and the newest ones.

Yah i also find and notice that some time none of subject on the top of discussion have fresh discussion. Ur thought are somehow correct. Because most of the member in my lot are from USA, Philippines and India etc. When they are going for rest then the new discussion is started little bit late. happy lotting

Well, i dont agree its dependant on time zone.. or have to do with a particular country.. as its 1:30am here.. and still i am responding to answers from India... i use to be online for whole of the night. i have noticed.. people from all the countries are not much active at the time range between...GMT time 1:30 to 3:30 am [experienced it many times] thanks to my messenger and online gaming habbit. [Indian time is GMT +5:30...]

Well a lot of it is down to time differences etc, and weekends I have noticed can sometimes be quiet, but the other thing that I notice is that it is nearly the end of the month and sometimes it goes quiet as people seem to respond rather than discuss so that they can round their earnings off.

The weekends are generally slower than during the week. I'm sure it's because a lot of members are spending time with their families. There have been days here and there on the weekend that were quite active, but that is usually the exception rather than the norm.

I guess I haven't been on the site often enough to notice! It probably has something to do with the day/night schedules of participating members. Or it could be that the server is just behind on adding new posts. REgardless, I never lack for discussions to respond to!

Hi ya aryajayaprakash I would say you are probably right on that one. I find that as I am going to bed my inbox is pretty much empty of friends who have started discussions and responses to mine and comments to my responses but when I log on at about 10am British time then my inbox is really full again.

Ya you are right. It seems to be inactive these days. When I was new to this site, which means 2 months back, I have seen discussions being started every second. But now its too slow. Does that mean that people got bored with mylot???? Even I don't start much discussions here because I am out of discussions. When I was new, I had a lot to speak about. But now its hard for me to find some good topic to discuss about. Lol. And I also find it too difficult to find out good discussions where I can respond. Lol. I easily reached 750 posts. But reaching 1000 takes too much of time for me. Hehe.

I have noticed,yes,and it seems that the whole site slows down at the weekends,maybe a time when you would think that people have more time to post,but obviously not,the weekends seem to be very slow here at mylot,but I am learning to look back at the older discussions and answer some of them to keep me busy.Some of the older ones already have a best response,but that doesnt matter very much really
