about my lot discussion

when i was new here too i experienced that too. but i just go with the flow. now that i am experienced mylot member i think the problem is you need nore supportive friends in mylot for you to have a lot of responses. you need to have a good and a catchy tittle to go with the discussion so it can be a interesting discussion. dont worry as you get more used to it you will get what i am talking about. goodluck. just have fun dont get to affected if your discussion has not gained a lot of responsos. during my new days i even have a discussions with mo responces. happy posting

The other person might have more active friends here at myLot. Some friends have a pact with each other to always respond to each others discussions. There are many other reasons this may have happened to your discussion, like time of day you posted it, etc. I would not take it personal, mhrmasum. I think it is a good practice to not take anything personally here at myLot.

This has happened to me before too mhrmasum! It can be for any number of reasons really. It could be something as simple as their timing for one; or maybe the second poster has a wider friends network? Most of the time though I think that it is just a matter of luck with timing more than anything else.

Yeah I know what you mean my friend it seems that one person will start a discussion but only get a couple responses,but then someone else would start a similar discussion and get a lot of responses I am not sure,why I have seen it happen to me I will start a discussion and not get many responses,but then someone else started a similar discussion and got a bunch of responses,I think that sometimes it depends on who started the discussion,what their reputation is,and how they worded the discussion.

I respond to my friends at my first priority and from there it is head and miss I think it is the luck of the draw and i am sure someone doesnot answer a discussion over another similiar one for any reason but luck I respond to No responses,new user and my friends and i have no time for the others Rarely when it is slow i will respond to that email we get with a list of topics I wonder was your topic in that list i suggest it wasnot Good Luck Its not a big deal at least to me

Hmm, these are good things to think about.

I don't exactly understand what you mean... 1. You've started a discussion on a topic and you don't get many responses while another discussion on the same topic does OR 2. You've posted a response to a discussion and another user that posted pretty much the same response got marked as "best response" and you don't understand the reason?

Every myLotters has their own opinion, so you will get a different response in here. beside that your discussion is can be like this. Your discussion is response by your friend and the same discussion that you find is also response by her/his friend. So between you and he/she has a different friend and you will get the different response. Also everyone has their own ability to write their opinion and words in here. So in here there is no the best and the worse. All are the same. keep post Happy myLotting...
