As far as I am concerned, I vote for HP if you are wondering the brand. I've been using hp laptop for over four years. Until now, it still works quite well, which means there were no hardware failures so far. And if you like music, watching movies and so on, hp laptop will be the best choise for you.But still, there is problem that the EMS memory and the capacity of the hard disk are too small, which make the laptop fairly slow. So I suggeste you that you should by laptop with large capacity of hard disk, as well we the EMS memory.

DELL laptops are great, they offer great notebooks for a low price and great customer support. I specially like the Dell XPS line of notebooks, they are the hot rods of PC laptops. They’re amped up, ready to take on the biggest, most intensive computing tasks you can throw at them, specifically high-end gaming or media tasks. These laptops have big, widescreen LCDs for viewing high-definition content, built-in webcams, powerful graphics cards, and much much more. If you’re looking for a notebook that can be the focal point of your modern multimedia lifestyle, the XPS line should be able to handle it. if you need a laptop for personal use dell inspiron will be the one for you. very reliable and affordable.

FYI, I am using HP and feel great using that. My experience, for reliability, the brand is IBM, for stylish, iMAC, for cheaper price and still above average, i believe is DELL's product. It have a wide range of products that allow users to select according to their needs. I do have friends using DELL and the feedback is not bad too and i do know that DELL providing good customer services. Hope the info help you making better choice.

I'd recommend Toshiba and Dell. They both have a reputation for being durable and robust. I had posted in a similar thread here that two of my siblings have a good experience with their respective Toshiba units. Both of their laptops were older by a year than my non-Toshiba brand. My unit's board crashed irreparably after three years. Their Toshibas work to this day. On the other hand, some companies I've worked for use Dell for their reliability even for heavy use. Of course, it's also important that you consider which brands have strong after-sales support systems in your area.

I preferred you to buy the laptop of the configuration which you require I prefer to take the laptop of Intel processor and motherboard don't go for the laptop which is more cheaper better to take good minimum configuration so that your laptop will remain long days.
