Former Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly would be hoping that the new selection committee will push for his return into the Indian team........ Ignored by Dilip Vengsarkar-led selection committee for the Irani trophy, Sourav Ganguly is pinning his hopes in the newly-appointed selectors from the East Zone,i.e, Raja Venkat for any chances of a comeback in the Indian team for the upcoming Test Series against Australia........... Strongly hoping to be retained in the test squad for the Australia Series which begins on October 9th, Sourav Ganguly feels that the appointment of Raja Venkat as a selector from East Zone will definitely benefit West Bengal Cricket.........

well. i don't think so, i would be really surprised to see Ganguly back. there are lot better players who could replace him. the middle order looks weak with him. rohit sharma, yuvarj look better options them him. his performance against Australia is also no that much impressive. i fell he cant make up to the test team.
