Obama and McCain debate

Watched the debate down here in Oz. Not impressed with either candidate. Both are warmongers, McCain being the worst. I was shocked at Bush jnr becoming President, but these two aren't much better. I know voting isn't compulsory there, and that you dont have one man one vote, but do you guys actually vote for these people or do they buy their way in?
