Okay, quick question, what do you think the best sites are for just getting viewers to see your written work? Not to get published, but just have people see your work and maybe bookmark it because they like it. Here's my dilemma, I have a literary agent(finally after years of doing it all myself)that got this crazy idea to post some of my earlier writings(poetry,short stories,essays...)on to some sites to just see if I could get a reaction. Her hope is that maybe I'll get some early word of mouth for my(still pending) book and some of my stuff in magazines. I think it is an insane idea considering I couldn't even find a BlogSite I liked to post on.(But I do love MyLot, go figure)I just need some help if you have any ideas. Thanks

i think your agent has a point. you dont have to put all your work in the site, you just want to know what other people will feel about your writing. try other writing sites that will allow you to post your work. you can do it in your blog, other forum sites, here in mylot, or other review sites. Just a suggestion!

I don't know of good places to post your writings. I do think that after you decide where to post them, you should post links on mylot. That would give your friends and others on mylot the opportunity to read them and tell you what they think. Good Luck!
