Daycare of babysitter which is better?

I have never had my children in daycare because I find it costly and when I have someone watch my children , I want to know who they are very well so I prefer to hire a babysitter . Someone I know and trust with my children and someone that I know my children love and trust as well . It is hard to have to leave our children but it is much easier if you can trust the ones you are leaving them with .

Well babysitter is more personal in their care for the child while a daycare isn't. Your child might or might not benefit from being around other children their age. But a daycare employee can't just focus attention on one child they are given many to take care of at once and so I feel that they don't get as much one on one attention that some children need at a young age and a connection. I also feel that the children in daycare are more prone to catching colds,flu,chickenpox, or a number of other diseases. So I would choose a babysitter.
