Are daughters more loving or sons? people speically in India always want a male child, but it is seen that the sons very rarely look after aged parents. They say that a son is a son till he gets a wife and a daughter is a daughter all her life.

I think daugters are more loving than sons. But everything will depend on with the person they'll get married to. If a son gets married to a girl who will love his family just as hers she'll look after his parents. At the same time if a daughter gets married to a person who does not like to care for her aged parents even though she loves her parents and want to care for them she'll not be able to do so. I think everything depends on even if you have a daughter or son, with the person whom they get married to.

Agree. It depends on the person he/she marriage with. That's because the influence from partner is extremely powerful. Even initially he/she not agree, but when come to toleration or wish not to have more argument, the situation will swift. =(

hi mercury..
daughters can express their feeling being woman it is much easier... with children of their own, they can appreciate their parents
sons being man .. they have their pride and very difficult for them to share their feelings ... with own family, their responsibilities to their own family, overcomes all other matters even their parents
some daughter in law .. are very jealous of the mother+son relationship, their husbands have and try to put up a barreir for the husbands (in this case the husbands, rather loose their parents than partner
some mother in law... are very jealous of therir son+wife relationship, they try to poison talk their sons, in which case .. the son keeps himself away from the mothers
conclusion : the woman (mother or wife or daughter) determines the relationship of the man to their own family ....
this does not mean all man are angle and influenced by "devil" woman ...
Indian ... want male child to collect dowry not pay dowry
cheers
