dear friends life is really a tough thing at times and you must decide what is more important.
there are times when the doctor declares that he can save only one of the two lives, the baby or the mother!!
if it is your case what will you decide ?

I think it truly depends on how healthy the baby is. If the baby is going to be born healthy I think that the baby should be saved, at least thats what I would want if I were in that situation, if it came down to having me or my healthy baby live, then I would want my baby to grow up to experience life.

Definitely the mom , i know it pains to lose a child , but then i dont know , mother should be saved first , or whomever GOD wants let them be saved .Why have you been into such situations or heard about this? what is your view , you must also show your answer to us.

May it it will be one of the toughest decisions of out lives if this situation ever comes. WEll and discussing it here would be lot easier then facing the actual situations when it really comes. God forbid if it even happen I will save my wife , I know it will be a very tough decision but that will what i be doing I guess. . You might be thinking about the reasons behind it but i guess I won't be able to explain it here properly so leave the reasons alone , I will be saving my wife's life .

In this case without knowing anything about the people involved, I'd choose the Mother, because she can have more children

It depends on which role I would be playing. If I'm the mother then save the baby. If I'm a child of the mother I would choose my mother. If I'm a husband, which most cases would decide, I would like to choose my wife but if my wife wants to choose our baby then I would abide by her wish. I just hope I would not be in this situation.

I was faced with this situation during the pregnancy of my fourth child. It was an automatic response, save the baby.
