Without realizing it we are already coming to the year end. Time is really passing very fast and another year means a new number is added to our years. Oh...we are advancing and no longer young. I am always delighted when christmas is around the corner. It is the preparation of the festivity that excites me more than the day itself. I love to bake my favorite fruit cakes and cookies. This is the only time I show off my baking skill. I am not really looking forward to the x'mas presents but I enjoy receiving the compliments of the good food served. Oh...enough of bragging.

hi dear zandi458, i love the way you express your self. i always look forward to your responses and comments! your cooking must be so delicate and deft that i can smell from the formation of your sentences!! i remember one of our elder relatives whenever we used to visit her she will make lemon water mixed with sugar , salt and black pepper, really simple to make and offer! but can you imagine she will go om stirring say for about 20 minutes or so , we used to giggle and say she stirs her love into it!! i can imagine your love for baking the cakes and serving them and the compliments you mentioned!!!...........MERRY CHRISTMAS...AND THE CELEBRATIONS......

Hi! I have not yet planned on Christmas. I will surely miss my parents and my other siblings back home because Christmas is always fun there (in the Philippines). I am only here with a sister, and maybe we will visit my other sister in another state who's already married. As for Christmas budget, there's none yet. There are still bills that need to be paid first, like my credit card bills which skyrocketed because of my summer vacation in the Philippines. Oh well...

I really love this season of Christmas,I can't wait till Christmas.I had started making list of gifts month back for my loved ones.I always wanted something special for everyone in this season of Love. There is so much to do in Christmas, you hardly find time to prepare anything.I don't care much about budget, but yes,I have to watch myself out a little since I keep on spending too much many times like for decorations, gifts etc..Happy myLotting!

Not prepared for it yet , still have so much left to buy lol . I love Christmas because it is my favorite time of the year but I will be buying right til the last day because I always do . I never feel I have enough bought or find something that I think someone will like . Things are going to be tighter this year and we are thinking of buying one big gift for one of the children instead of a bunch of little gifts but have not bought it yet so it could change at any time . We have cut down on our list a lot this year as we are not buying for all the people we used to buy for because for starters we can`t afford it and I don`t feel that we should be buying for every single person we know . My husband has been saying this for years but I always end up feeling bad but this year I am going to stick to it .

I do not celebrate christmas but my mom wants me to go up to her house to watch the kids open there gifts and she said I had to eat anyway so I might go up but my boyfriend wants me to go to his parents with him so I am not sure what I am going to do yet. If it were up to me I woudl sit home by myself and watch tv cause i feel chirstmas is just a big waste of time and money for everyone.
