Egypt would make a cheap but exciting travel destination. It has the pyramids near Cairo, the River Nile, Luxor and Aswan. It has beach resorts on the Red Sea like Hughada. It has a train service from Cairo to Luxor and Aswan. It is very hot from May to October and so I suggest going at a time from November to April.
Have you been to Egypt?
If so where did you go?
If not would you like to go to Egypt?

I have never fancied Egypt to be honest my friend, I guess the heat puts me off for a start and I was surprised in hearing you say it is a cheap destination, I seriously thought it would be very expensive. I have other places on the top of my list to go to and I am sure the place is wonderful but it just doesn't do anything for me, I haven't got the urge or interest to go there. I think it would be nearly impossible to go everywhere in the world, unlike Willie Fogg eh!

Hello my friend Wolfie. I hope that you will go to New Zealand and you will like the cool climate as well as superb outdoor scenery. It would be great if you could visit Sweden and see its lovely looking lakes. Ireland is another country that I hope you will go to. It rains a lot there so I suggest taking an umbrella.
Cairo would be quite chilly in January, further south like in Luxor would be pleasantly warm at that time of the year. But in August it would be very hot and there wouldn't be any rain. The interest is the pyramids, the history and the culture.
A lifetime is not long enough to fit in visits to everywhere in the world. It costs so much money so I go to as many places in the world that I can afford to go to. My travel wish list is really long and I hope to go to every place on my list. Happy traveling.

I have never been to Egypt... but i wish i could visit that country before i die... i would particularly go to the City of Alexandria... mainly because it was founded by Alexander the Great... and it was one of the most magnificent city during the ancient times... i would like to visit the Great Pyramids of Giza... and the Valley of the Kings...

Hello my friend Aseretdd. I hope that you will go to India one day. Yes, the city of Alexandria would be a great place to visit. You could get a train there from Cairo I think. I flew over the pyramids on a plane when I was on my way home from Kenya. It would be lovely to see them from ground level next time.

Hello Maxi. How are you ? Well, I have only been to Cairo airport , not to the City. I have seen many very impressive photos of places in Egypt. I really wish to visit Cairo and places in the country, the famous River Nile !

Hello Green Line. I am really well, thanks. How are you? I flew from Mombasa to London and the plane stopped in Cairo to refuel. I saw a the pyramids from the air and it was amazing. I would love to go back and see Egypt from ground level next time. You might enjoy sailing down the River Nile.
