I must have been really tired or something. My usual routine is up at 7:30, make coffee, breakfast, read the daily scripture, check email and then start working. On Saturday I sleep a bit later, maybe 8:30, then I work in the house, do the mylot thing and so on. Sunday it's off to teach Sunday School by 8:30, then service, then home. Sunday is football, myLot, clicking, and relaxing. I don't understand it. I fell asleep just after midnight I guess. That's a bit earlier than usual. I even took a few weeks off of teaching Sunday School so I have extra time on Sunday morning because I've been caring for my mother in law. Anyway, I woke up, on the couch, and it was 9:00. I thought to myself, I'll wait just a few minutes and then get up. Next thing I know it's noon!! Now, my body clock will be off and tomorrow or maybe even the next day it will catch up to me. I'll stay up late tonight after sleeping late, starting a two day cycle of sleep confusion. On top of that, I missed my worship service! Do you get off kilter when your sleep schedule is changed? OR are you able to easily adjust?

You needed a good rest, that's what your body wanted. Listen to it. It will take care of you. I put my alarm and make sure to get up quickly when I have appointments to keep. Some days if I have nothing urgent, I'll just get up when my body wants to. I go with the flow of the particular day and always go to bed as the usual time or close to it.

You know I usually get to bed at the usual time too, but I'll bet I don't tonight and that's the part I hate so much! Thanks for talking. Have a good one

Yeah I guess you are right. I could have just stayed up at 9:00 though then I might have made church. It's dreary weather here today so that probably adds to it. I hope I'm not up till 3am tonight. I have to get some stuff done in the morning.

I am easily adjusted when it comes to wanting to wake up earlier. However, the problem is I might miss a few hours of sleep if I want to wake up earlier . . it's kind of difficult for me to go to sleep earlier. I'm sorry to hear that you missed worship today but I am sure it's the intention that counts :) Don't stress over the problem too much because if you do you may end up in the never ending cycle of sleep confusion (I've been there, it's not a nice place to be)

That's exactly what I'm thinking, sleep confusion and I hate it when that happens

Lucky you :) I don't like sleeping past ten, if you sleep past ten your whole day is out the window.

i also depends on the person. it may also depends on the body. like you are not used to somethings so it also needs time. and it may also depends on the person's mind if you are not mentally prepared or ready for changes.
