Why a friend is very important to us?

Actually, i very happy that i have many friends that are helping me in my life, and i helping them in life also. When i feel bored or sad i can find them go out have tea time to tell them my sadness or what i needs. Sometimes our friends also can be our brothers or sisters although we don't have any blood relationship between us. Friends also know more about our thoughts than our parents if our parents is very busy with their work. As Chinese idiom "when we are stay outside we need our friends help, but when we are stay inside our house we need our parents help".
Can you share to me that why your friends is very important to you?

I think I couldn't add more to this - I actually have only two guys in my life that are really BEST friends to me, that I know they will make or say only those things, that are good for me. One of them is m boyfriend, an the other one is ilke my older brother, but as you mentioned - we aren't real family.
I think what is most imoprtant with having a friends it's this feeling that whatever you do, they will understand even if it's not a good thing. And help if needed. Trust you.
