I have been a member at ehow since July 08 and now have $10.21 on there with 66 articles of mine on there. I also sign up with associated content which I need to work on two more articles in order to qualify for getting that extra $10 in my account. I already have one of my three articles given to me for upfront money to me but haven't recieved it yet at paypal. Too bad that only US residents are allow on there since it's not fair for everybody else to sign up outside of the US.
I am also a member which I had signed up recently at Neowide and already got $2 for one article. They pay in between $1-$10 and I had already posted an article about it on neowide and associated content. If you are interested on reading my article, let me know so I can show you the link listing other places online that are looking for writers.
I'm $2 away to reach payout payment on here of $10 and if you keep doing this everyday, you'll reach payout sooner than you think.
I was amazed that one of my discussions at one time this month had 50 people commenting on it. But people had stopped though.
I was wondering if you have something to say about this, let me know so then we can all share together what we know.
Being a freelance writer can sometimes be hard but like anything, the reward is way better.
I need to work on 2 more articles when my 8 month old is sleeping because right now, she is next to me and there were times she erased my stuff before while she was next to me. Hope to hear from you all.

I write in other places, but as I don't do it on a regular basis nor with real commitment, I dont have great results. Yet. I do plan to change it and treat it more seriously. As I would really wantfor my freelance writing career to kick off and bring me actual profit.
Apart from mylot (on which I'm a little more than $1 away from payout) I also write for helium (which I really like) and for reviewstream.
I'm thinking about finding one or two more places to write for, but I'm really picky and I need to feel comfortable with thesite to actually commit to writing something for them.
Good luck with your writing career and with your babygirl :D

Thanks Calajane.
I suggest that you check out ehow.com and neowide.com.
Here's why. Because using ehow will give you passive income for months and months. At first after signing up for the writer's compensaton program which i did after I joined it, at first, it's slow where you get paid but within less than a month, you earn some money and now, I have more than $10 in my account there which is great. A great way to squeeze some more money out of your own articles that you have for each one.
At neowide, you get paid in between $1-$10 which I am waiting for my other two to see how much they would give me. I got $2 with my first article with them.
You cashout when you reach $50 which shouldn't be too long to take since they pay you with paypal so you have to have that. At ehow, it's $10 cashout with paypal.
I am on some other sites but I am not on Helium, constant content which someone posted on how he did it of where he posted it up at constant content and then to associated content and then to helium. Interesting though. I even have some ideas that I came up on my own in order to squeeze and get more money out of each articles.
I have 66 articles published already at ehow.
ehow is vey popular which if you notice, it's not just me that loves it.
Check it out and same thing with neowide.
I wrote an article on how to squeeze and get more money out of it plus some other places to write at where you get paid for doing it.

The only other one I write on is Helium. I mostly do other sites. I have only wrote a couple of articles on helium and log in every now and then. I like the concept with helium, I don't really know if the other sites work the same as helium does. I have heard of associated content. I am just already in so many different sites, I try to focus on those. I think it is a good way to make extra money though.

I am only on associated contents. Just joined last month end. I have already published three articles there and have submitted two more. So I have already qualified for the extra $10 if my two articles are accepted. You can check my writings through the link on my homepage here. Have not tried any more sites.
