I'm about to be homeless

Sorry to hear this. That is really a short time to have to find a new place to live. Too bad you can't crash in the storage unit for a while. I suppose you don't have any friend to help you out either. Hope you'll find a new place soon. Take care!

Gee that is sad. I hope you will be able to get another place and get things worked out. I was once almost homeless and it was a scary situation. I own my own house now and although the economy is bad I think I am secure here. It is a low mortagae. I wish you well. Things have a way fo working out.

Been there, done that, saw the movie and wrote the book! It's not fun to be sure. The company even tried unsuccessfully I might add, to sue me. They made the court date such they they would cause the most harm to me and my family. Too bad for them their plan blew up in their face. They were nasty, left messages to the effect that my wife and I were divorced etc. Sorry to hear that this is happening to you. The other side of the coin is that things happen for a reason / season. Things will get better. As one door closes or slams shut another one opens up. Even with all the trials that me and our family have had there is always food on the table.

Sorry to hear about your predicament. Perhaps you could check with the local churches. Churches generally offer much better services than the government. Good luck.

yes I had those moments when people promised good things and didn't deliver it I hope things will work out for you I don't understand how you only get one day to get out that's really short

Listen my friend, there are many resources out there to help you. I have come down this road with several homeless people that I actually took in. One case was a 5 month pregnant woman who was living on a park bench. I drove 150 miles up to get her and the same back. All she had was the torn clothes on her back. No documentation of proving who she was and the baby was in danger because she and the baby were dehydrated from the extreme heat during that summer. Anyway, start with your local Social Service office. Then there are shelters and food pantries which they can give you a list while your there. I don't know why you will be homeless but I do know that there are many resources out there, you just need to go for them. I wish you luck and hope that things work out for you soon. I know how upset you may be and my heart goes out to you. I am also wondering about the time frame they are giving you to get out. You know that you can't just be put out like that without a decent warning and it has to be ruled by a court. At least that is the way it is where I live. Here they have to allow you either 30-60 days to find a home. Good Luck and God Bless

I am so sorry to hear that.I understand this feeling.It is difficult to solve the problem of accommodation in such a short time.Maybe you can try to explain the situation with the owner and ask your friend for help.Maybe they have a friend in the same city.Good Luck!

Wow that is sad. I wish you the best of luck in getting a new place you like. I didn't think they could evict someone and tell them to get out so suddenly without giving them a lot more time with notice. One day is really sudden to expect someone to get out and find another place. But yeah, I have had the situation of "things going good and then bam...suddenly taken away" happen to me, but it wasn't on the same level as your situation.

Are you renting? That's just cruel! 1 day! But that cannot be! They're supposed to give you a 30-day notice/grace period. They cannot do that to you! I don't know what kind of BS has happened out there but if you are renting, they should give you enough time to find a new place before throwing you out in the streets. I hope you can look into the legalities of this matter, but if that won't do you good, I hope you've got enough friends to help you right now. My God! I just feel so bad about that!

That's a terrible one. Anyway, Just keep your hopes high as many people will help you out there. You are never alone. Seek help from your friends, neighbors, classmates, or to the government, for the least. They can surely help you with your problems.

I'm sorry to hear this, celeb. Around here it is illegal to give someone such short notice to evict them. Once you live in a place for more than two weeks, you are no longer simply a guest. I hope you find a place quickly.
