H. A. L. on the distaff side. 2001, A Space Odyssey did a way better and more entertaining job that this somewhat of a rip-off flick. I just wish the screenwriters would have read the book 2001 or at least seen the that movie before making this thing. Although there is a story here, it's full of holes and not very good ones at that. It was a bit of fun to watch - a bit more that the late summer drivel we've seen lately, but it suffers from trying too hard to be more of a video game than an movie. It lacks something new and or a novel story all the while ripping off the best parts of other movies but more so from "2001."
