could you start more than one discussion at the same time?!

is it really possible that someone start more than one topic at the same time?!
i mean that someone post 2 or more topics after each other with time intervals not more than 1 minite without even check whether he got a response in any of them or not?
so if you can do that how can you trace all responses and comments?!

i have started two discussions within a minute.. i just had two tabs open and were working on both at the same time then submit them one after another.. and since i get emailed any responses its no big deal.. i will be able to keep up with everything.. might be a little slow though lol

eventually some one will answer them.. i just now got an 4 month old discussion its first reply today.. some discussions will be buried and not answered even if you do them slowly its all in the luck and timing of them.. just make sure and put tags and hope that some one later on will do a search and find it..

It is possible to open a topic one after another, but if you are making them up as you go Im sure they are no good...just something shallow that was done over and over again. But if you have topics ready, why not afterall there arent that many aswers that you couldnt manage to deal with them all.
But there is another thing that I see as a problems. If you open too many topics at the same time, people might not like that, because their topic might get off the first page to soon. And you could get a bad reputation, leading to lots of minuses and ignoring.

I have enough trouble keeping one discussion going! I rarely have more than one going and I really don't bring up that many topics. It's a lot of effort, posting it and reading and responding to the replies. I suppose people can have a couple of them going at once, though. It would overwhelm me, especially if it was a popular topic!

I guess it will become really tough to maintain two or more discussion at the same time..reply to the responses,comments for two discussions together will not leave any time to respond to other's discussions.
