Is China becoming a threat in the outer space battle?

With the safe landing of Shenzhou VII spaceship,China has made a great stride in its history of exploring the outer space,laying the extraordinary foudations for its ambition to build its own space station.Before,the United States refused to cooperate with China in the area of exploring the universe.However,probably,China now stands good chance to land the moon before 2020.Therefore,there remains a question open.Is China becoming a threat in the outer space battle?Or just mark another great step of all humanity?
