Can a cell phone be a substitute for a computer?

pdas are already on their own way to lead shape out the computer to palm size and surely i guess not within a little time span a pda can replace a computer......!!!

yes it has already replaced a computer but the only problem is that we cannot easily type on the keypad of a cellphone as it is very small it is a bit difficult to do that rather than typing on a big key board thats the only variation and bno one other than that

this is possible if we think but bigger applications may not be possible I thought if we try this also may be possible because technology distance between mobile and computer is not less so I thought it is possible.

well,technology is dynamic so i won't wonder if a cellphone will become a sustitute for computers.i guess the 2 will only differ in quality,like the screen.pc's have wider screens so viewing a site is not a problem.but if you were to use a cellphone,you need to zoom in so that you can read the texts better.happy mylotting!

I think cell phones can be a substitute for a computer because now a days a cell phone has every facility that a computer have.Now programs can load into cellphone.many type of data can be read or written by cellphones.They have good cameras,high speed internet,big lcd screens and portable also.
