Hello mylotters
Here's a question for you all. What do you preffer? Getting paid for your writing or getting paid for your clicking?
I know that I get much more satisfaction from being paid for my writing. When I see my articles and my reviews earning money I actually feel like all the efford that went into writing said piece isn't lost at all.
While clicking ptcs and surveys and all that other stuff is pretty repetitive and doesn't give me any satisfaction. Even money from ptcs don't seem to carry the same 'weight'.
Sure, sometimes one day of clicking ads will give me much more money than daily income from my articles, but still. It doesn't give me the same satisfaction.
Why do you think that is?
What about you? What method of earning money gives you more satisfaction?
Which one you like better?

I agree with you. There is a sense of satisfaction when you see your articles posted up for all to see. I get even more excited when I see comments posted, as I actually know that someone bothered to read it! It does take a while to see the earnings, but it is a thrill when you get it. I have only cashed out once from e-how, but it was unexpected so I still feel thrilled about it even though it was several months ago. I've posted some stuff on Triond as well, so hopefully someone will read that too. Enjoy your writing!

i would rather write an article and get paid for it because it would make me know that someone appreciates my words and thoughts rather than just ckicking for cash. the only problem right now is that the amount of money that writers are paid is very little.

Yes. The ammount of money writers get is not very huge. But then again, if you use sites like helium it's a long time investment, it keeps paying ater you wrote it.
Then again, you can sell your articles and guest blog for money. freelance writers have a lot of different way to get paid for their writing :)
Thank you for your response.

Hello Calajane,
Honestly, I prefer anything that gives me more money.
Oops, did I just give it away?
I haven't got luck with writing (unless you are talking about normal myLot). I experimented with 2 articles in Helium marketplace. I thought I wrote brilliantly but apparently, well, I don't know! Both are still "in progress" though both have reached their "buy by" dates.
Wonder what helium is doing or it's not enforcing things right. ![](/Content/images/emotes/blink.gif)

I think that with sites like helium it's really up to the actual number of articles you have there :) andthe ammountof articles you write for contests and for marketplace :) BUt you shouldn't give up :) Try other sites that might work better for you than helium :)
Thanks for your response ;)

Well, I sure hope to get paid for writing. But it ain't that easy to get a good following for your writing.
I am still searching for sites that pays well for writing. And the few that I have joined recently changed their payment TOS, making it difficult to make a decent amount for the articles that I post there.
Any good recommendations?
