who likes century egg? / myLot

there is a retaurant that serves a certian soup & has a slice of century egg. i never ate the century egg whenver i order this soup. i don't know if it's just me but i really don't like the smell of it. no offense to those who like it but it's as if i'm not eating an egg. with it's peculiar color & taste. so who here likes or dislikes this preserved egg?

I suppose century eggs are an acquired taste. I did not use to like it but my friends and my wife love it so I gave it a try. It is very nice with soy sauce. I have grown to appreciate its exotic taste. Cheers!!

i'm a good sport when trying exotic foods & after the 1st taste that's when i will determine if i'd like to give it a second try of eating it. but it think i'll try your suggestion of eating it with soy sauce. thanks! :)
