So we had my sister's birthday party

So on Saturday we had my sister's birthday party. She turned 8. We had my family come over and some kids that live near us that my sister is friends with. My mom and I were trying to figure out what games to play with her and the other kids. I don't remember all of them because I wasn't outside for all of the games. I know they played an egg race, scavenger hunt and a game where someone holds a bowl over their head and the other person gets cotton balls in the bowl with a spoon or something. Other than that I don't remember. I know all of the kids got a goodie bag and then there were prizes for ever won that game.
The party was kind of chaotic. I had woke up with a cold that day so I was really tired. I had cleaning to do and then I helped my mom out as well. It wasn't just because I have a cold though, it was just chaotic between all of the kids and all of the people that were there. We had little ceasars pizza for the party and then a cake and ice cream. We also had some chips and a vegetable tray out for everyone to snack on.
My mom had called everyone and told everyone about the party and one of my uncles and his immediate family wasn't there yet so my mom called them. My uncle had forgotten about it and had forgotten to tell his wife about it! 
At one point at the party my uncles decided to throw wet cotton balls at people. That is nothing new with them, they do it all of the time. All of my family (or most) joke around a lot and do things like that.
When my sister opened up her presents all of the kids were beside her and standing up trying to see what she had gotten. They all wanted to hand them their gift. I thought that was sweet. I really thought they would just be playing or sitting, not really caring because they didn't get anything. I just thought it was sweet how they wanted to see what she got and if she liked their presents.
So do you remember a birthday party that you went to? Even if you were an adult when you went? Did you have fun? Were their games and prizes? What did you eat?
If you were throwing the party or helping out was it chaotic?

When I was working, we have it every year, in my workplace and in the apartment where my Sister and I were renting!
We always prepare a welcome party or acquaintance party and every Christmas, a lot of games, prizes and fun!
We always have Filipino food like lechon, filipino spaghetti(lol), salad, sea food, fruits like mango, pineapple and etc!
DUring parlor games, it's always chaotic but we always manage them..LOL![/i]

Yes it was very chaotic. I don't remember it ever being that chaotic like that. Whenever we do get together we usually do cookouts and finger foods. Or some snacks, something like that.
This birthday party though we wanted something cheap and quick, so we didn't want to have to cook or anything like that. So the pizza's were a good idea. Although we got too much pizza. We had about 2, almost 3 whole pizza's left over. We have been eating them for lunch and dinner lately. Better to get too much than not enough!
