Hi!
Was wondering what you people are thinking about fast-food from restaurants like Burger King, McDonalds, KFC etc. etc...
Do you see them as a snak or a good normal daymeal?
In my opinion it's just a snack..usually when I eat like 2,3 hamburgers from fast-food restaurants, I get hungry again after an hour or so, so this really is just a snack for me! That's why I only go rarely to these 'restaurants'..
How about you guys?

For me, it still a real restaurant as the meal provided can fill up my hunger. I saw before some of the restaurant do provide the fact of the food, meaning that the calorie, sugar, mineral available for the food, including per serving guide. Nowadays, they do moving towards healthy meal like Subway. So if having that daily, it would not cause us taking too much calorie. Snack is more for something not good for health, but if compare to fast food, it is not so accurate. =)

But don't you agree with me that fast-food is a snack? It's called fast-food because you get it quick, and you can eat it quick..
And well I have to agree with you that subway is something different then the one I mentioned..because they are providing the option to choose your own meal, with whatever you want to have on it! So you could actually buy a healthy meal there, if you would like to..
But usually with me with fast-food, I always get hungry after it after an hour or so, and it doesn't matter even how much I've eaten there then! Weird huh?

Sorry for objection. For me, snack is something that without or insufficient nutrient for the day. It may provide some energy to the person but it just for temporary. But for those fast food, it can be use to replace our daily meal, that's why they do have like breakfast, dinner meal, etc.
Sharing with you a funny situation regarding eat quick in fast food restaurant. No offends, just my observation and thought that to share with you. I saw a family, father mother and 2 children at McD, the father bought a set meal for each of family member, and guest what, the first sentence the father told them to eat slowly in order not to get chock. I was get shock when hear and i start thinking the fast food is means the food serve fast for customer now?? =)

I say avoid fast foods all together if you can. I would much rather eat at home. It is cheaper most of the time, and if cooked properly, it is a lot healthier for you.

You're totally right! I'm glad as well that I live in a village..the nearest fast-food restaurant is 20 miles away from me, lol!
But I would like to mention as well you haven't quite answered the question..do you agree or not agree that fast-food restaurant is a snack? Or do you think it's a good meal? ;)

For me it is just a snack because whenever I have to dine outside, it is my habit to eat at home as soon as I arrive no matter what time of day (or night) it is. I will never be contented if I don't get my home made food especially if it is cooked by my mom.

Ha Ha. I was just thinking about this the other day. I saw three older women coming out of McDonalds and I thought "who says hey why don't we get together and have dinner at McDonalds?" In high school fast food was all I could afford. Now I get salads and yougurt parfaits and occasionally a snack wrap or some white meat tenders (these are better than the grilled chix sandwiches). Snacks. However, I agree, I try to avoid fast food all together.
