When reading Shakespeare's plays, do you get the feeling that they are about more than what people think? With "A Mid Summer Nights Dream" Do you get the feel that he wants sexuality to open and expressed not repressed?

i havent read shakesphere since highschool. so im rusty. but i think there are so many meanings behind each story .. i remember in class everyone had a diferent opinion on what was being said in each story. Very interesting.
