What does reading mean to you?

I am an avid reader and a connoisseur of any reading material. Reading to me is a therapy that I need to do every time. I feel incomplete when I don't read something. How about you? What does reading mean to you?

it's my way of unwinding after a stressful day. it makes e relax and entertain at the same time.

Reading is a way to gain wisdom. In reading we learn things. We can give answers to our own questions. Through reading, we can go places, through reading, we exercise our brain through thinking. Reading things that I am interested at makes me relax also...
