The Amazing Race premiered last night and, I cozied up on my couch to see it. I enjoyed it as usual but, I am not entirely feeling that edge of the seat kind of thing just yet because I haven't picked a favorite team yet. There are a few I sort of like and, I am already not feeling the divorcees if for no other reason than I am going to be counting how many times they talk about being newly divorced. 2 times so far. LOL!
I wish I had more to talk about. I just don't really have a favorite or a most hated team yet. Once I get to know them better, I will have more to say.
So, how about you? Any likes or dislikes thus far?

I don't have any favorites yet either. It takes me a few weeks to get into it and then I will find a favorite. I didn't see the last 10 minutes or so since 60 minutes was running late and Desperate Housewives premiered. Who was the last team that had to go home?

I didn't care for the hippy team anyways, so that is good. I know that 60 minutes always is on late on Sundays due to sports! It makes it a pain to try to watch anything.

I am already getting a with the divores team, I am also annoyed by tina. She complains too much and is always bossing everyone around. My favorite so far is the mother son team, they hardly ever argue with each other and the mother is doing suprisingly well trying to keep up with her son and everyone else.

I'm so mad at myself for missing it. I just didn't realize it was on already! So I missed the first show. I will watch (actually DVR - as I watch football on Sunday night). I love the show- it's right on the top of my list of favorites in reality. Will talk more later too- How exciting--- Cortjo reports on Survivor and Amazing Race...

I hope you get caught up! It has been on now for I think 3 weeks. But, make a not to yourself to set you DVR for at least a half hour longer as Sunday night football has it coming on later usually because the game goes longer. If my hubby and I weren't always checking on it on Sunday, we would sometimes miss the last half hour, and the week before last, all but 15 minutes of the show due to football. So, just make sure that you set your DVR for maybe even up to an hour longer to record it.
And, I am glad to see you so happy for my reports on both Amazing Race and Survivor! That is really sweet of you!

Well its about time you wrote this..lol..
I just don't want to start it since its you i look to on these shows so i patiently wait..lol..
I knew the Hippie couple weren't going to make it..to slow and not fighting..lol..so that means not good tv..but they were so colorful!
Right now its maybe the brother and sister team..her name is Star and his is??? or the separated couple that hold hands and she bosses him...lol..
somehow I think the mother and son will be last next week..

LOL! Thank you for waiting for me! LOL!
I actually sort of thought, at first, that the hippie couple was going to do better because of how physical their jobs are. But, I am not too surprised that they were first out. And yea, they didn't argue or fight which makes for dull TV. LOL!
Nick is the name of Starr's brother...I think. LOL! I don't know what I think about those two yet. My hubby thinks that Starr is hot. LOL!
That separated couple...yikes. She really is bossy isn't she? She makes me want to clock her. LOL!
It seems to me that the mother/son team might be last as well next week. I did notice something uncomfortable about the mother in that team. When they were standing in line to start running the race, she was turned sideways towards him and she gave him a peck on the cheek as they waited for the "Go". Clingy much? LOL!

I like everybody so far, the divorcees are just role playing out their differences, I don't think they people to know that they were married, that's probably why they said it twice. Anthony and Stephanie, hmmm, he says he'll propose if they make it through the race, sounds like conditional love to me. Nick and Starr are going to make it interesting, sibling rivarly is always fun to watch.

I can't recall which ones are Anthony and Stephanie but, I agree about Nick and Starr. At first they seemed like they would probably be pretty good at keeping themselves under control but, now it seems they are pretty typical as far as siblings go. LOL.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to getting to know the teams and picking a favorite or two.

I don't have a favorite as of now either. It also feels like they are trying to keep them closer and closer together. It would be nice if they would allow it to be more of a race instead of forcing them into time slots and such just to keep them in the same city/area of a country.

Yea. It almost looked like it was going to be a race with the first flights being a little far apart. But, it seemed like they really weren't that far apart after all. I look forward to getting to know a little more about the teams but, for now...it's too soon to pick favorites or otherwise.
