economic problem in America

A big part of the economic problem we are having comes from big business sending a huge part of jobs overseas, but they still get all the benefits USA gives to big businesses, and our military (talk about costs); yet we are the reason they are in business. We are the consumers. There isn't a product that businesses make that in some way Americans buy, be it a byproduct of it, its made to create other things (gas) or what. But what they, in their neverending pursuit of profit and taking care of shareholders have not considered, is that it is the every day working American who buys their product. No job, no purchase. Sooner or later they will get hit. Think about it, no money what will be the important purchases? What it really takes to live (not what commercials make most people believe they need to live, and yes, commercials do infuence you, they don't spend billions because they don't work): food, water, heat, shelter. Lets hope big business wakes up before we go that far, and that the American people realize that they do have more power then they are led to believe they have .. You can change things.. demand (nicely, but firmly) a change, accountability from both politicians and big business (we do pay for them in different ways: tax breaks, taxes, military protecting their oversea ventures, and more).

I certainly agree that greed in corporate America is a huge factor in today's economy. The outsourcing you mentioned is not only frustrating to working American's who, as a result, have lost their jobs but also to people that are trying to find jobs and can't get them bcz a huge portion of them have been shipped overseas, not to mention consumers that now have to deal with people who can barely speak English when they call a corportaion to get an issue resolved. I would like to know when corporate America is going to start sharing the wealth with AMERICANS? Unfortunately I don't see it happening. The greed in this country has gotten way out of control, the "little" people don't matter anymore, not to corporate or political leaders.

Er, I think the trend's already turning.
People've been moving away from the big businesses, the global businesses throughout this year. Going more local, starting up their own things.
Now it's more of a matter of these businesses realizing it and trying to win us back, because I and others are perfectly willing to let their own stupidity squash them. I know that sounds harsh, but if you don't give a crap about people (like alot of these businesses) I think that gives the people a right not to give a crap about you.
