a sister of mine got pregnant before her college graduation day and my mom was very disappointed of her. for she was expecting my younger sister to graduate with flying colors and to land a very good job after her graduation...but instead, she became a single parent and without a job. because of my mom's disappointment, she was angry with my sister and hate her so much that she cannot forgive and forget what my sister had done. if you are in my sister's shoes, what would you do? do you think my mom is right in hating my sister?thanks

Well, a friend's mother also got angry since her daughter got married to a man she disapproved. They were out of touch for years and years, but at least now they've reconciled. :-))))
I think your mother's anger is valid, but she shouldn't be angry too long. After all, your sister is her daughter and the baby will be her grandchild.
If I were your Mom, I'd tell my daughter that I am disappointed, but I'll also help her be independent. I'll help her get a job somewhere or open her own business from home or something like that.
If I were your sister, what would I do? That's tough...but I'd try to do my best to find something to do...maybe be a private tutor or something.

their is a saying that " a children "can" forget their parents BUT not the parents can forget their children. and ofcourse she can forget and forgive your sister and for now just give you mother a space and later on she realize and thankfull to GOD that her daughter alive.

I can't imagine hating my child, unless they were an actual dangerous criminal who'd done something truly wrong murder, pedophilia, grand theft and the like. Any other mistakes, I can forgive I'm sure.
