So what did you think?
I found so many of the teams downright annoying. The frat boys are Losers with a huge capital L. The dating couple from NY, Sarah and Terrence need to have fallen off that cargo net. Oh and the former NFL player and his overfacelifted wife. Ick. He cheated you, we get it. Now shut up. There is a reason he did it and it starts with your mouth. The siblings are clingy already to people they barely met. But, seem to be competent racers, so I could live with them. I liked how they bothered to find out where the pit stop was instead of just hopping in a taxi. That's how they came in first because the team right behind them just ran for a taxi. Smart usually overcomes fast in this race.
I like the comic book geeks the best so far. I was prepared to hate them (Frat boys in 20 years). But, they were nice guys (Go ahead and pass us, we're just resting) who figured out how to do things. Hope they stick around for a bit. I like the teams that race without being nasty.
I know I could never this race and last night showed why. The cargo net or the crawling up the steps. I probably would have taken the net, because you could do a controlled slide down. Plus, there is a safety harness to keep it from becoming the Amazing Fall to Your Death. But, 240 feet is a long way down.

My 12yo daughter is cheering for the frat boys. I kind of like the brother and sister, but really it is too early to say. Yeah, Mr. Football and his wife are annoying. I wouldn't be sad to see them go. Aside from the comic book geeks and the hippies, the others didn't stand out so much last night. All in the editing though. We'll get to more about the other players as time goes on. The divorcees seem to be nice but don't know whether they have what it takes to win this game.

1 hour for the premier when there are 11 teams is not enough time to get to know them. It really needs to be 2 hours. One of the divorcees is a little too made up for me to like her. The beauty queen types annoy me.

I totally agree. One hour of the premier is not enough. I think 2 episodes is enough to decipher all the relationships and decide your favorite and worst teams.
I do like the Frat boys and it will be very interesting to see how their race pans out. Though yeah, I wouldn't be sad to see them go either. The comic book geeks are really good and I like the hippies. I really dislike a few teams but probably I won't after the second episode. Lets see what happens.
Only one more day till the next episodes!

I don't know who I like yet. The football player and his wife are annoying and the NY couple also. I'm glad the hippie couple is out I was going to be nervous watching them and hoping they didn't get hurt. They seemed like a nice couple but too fragile for the race. I'm sure I will get a better feel for the group next week and pick my favorites. I would of definately did the cargo net. I can't imagine going up all of the steps although I did see that they had kneepads. Did you think it was strange that they had their backpacks on? Usually they dump them before they do a challange. Looking forward to next week.

You're right. Too stupid to think to do it? I would bet on that one. because, yes, everyone dumps their bags before doing a task. I keep worrying one will get stolen.
Of course, I get the feeling they have some people who never really watched the Race on this season. Did you catch one of the Southern Belle's saying how stressful it was to be in a foreign country? Umm, sweetie, the entire race is in foreign countries because it's, you know, a race around the WORLD. If you can't handle foreign countries, perhaps you should have tried out for another reality show?

I like the best friend boys. They seem to have the right attitude to go far. I liked the old hippies too but it is too late for them. I like the siblings too, they seem to be nice and sometimes nice people do win. I would never in a million years have done that cargo net. I hate heights. I couldn't beleive that anyone would crawl up the stairs without counting! That was the first thing I thought when they said there would be a question at the top! I think this will be an interesting season.

I haven't watched the Race enough to realize that would have been the question. Of course, I suck at the counting tasks. Last season when Jen miscounted at the fence, I totally understood because that is EXACTLY the mistake I would have made. Of course, Jen was still a witch. So, I did enjoy laughing at her mistake.
