Is Hip Hop Dead?

Well, as Nas said... "Hip Hop is dead".
Do you beleive it is dead? Is it just in a bad state right now?
I beleive it is dead. Underground will always be alive though.

Hip Hop is still alive my friends, i make Hip Hop Beatz to sell and there are still lot of hiphop rappers rising right now, but yea , the underground raps is the hottest right now and the most populaire...

Hip-hop will allways be here, the problem is that most of what the average person gets to hear is the same old, boring, pop tune, blinged up by the marketing companys.
If you wanna hear real hiphop then check out what is going on locally to you! Go to the gigs, check out the freestyle sessions (if possible) and find the rappers that say things that you like or agree with. The problem is most chart rappers are lame, talking the same old rubbish that everyone has been hearing since the 80's.
I personaly think hiphop is great, youve just gotta find whats relevent to you.
Btw connectyou, i also make the odd beat from time to time but my speciality is the rhymes. Maybe we could check each others work out? if ya fanct it?
