It's hard for me to get a good beginning. And when I do write I can't seem to finish it. I have more than 5 stories that I want to get done but I only did them halfway. I don't want my ending to be stupid. Do any of ya'll have this problem?

I am starting a book , it is my first one . I am not sure what to tell you , maybe not to end the stories per say , maybe set them up for the next book? I doubt if your story will end stupid , if you have 5 stories I am sure you are very talented . Take confidence in yourself , it will feel so good when your name is all over those shelves!

Well, she's right and welcome to mylot! Just do a lot of research and make a surprise ending. It must be something nobody would guess could happen but it does not necessarily mean to be a suspense thriller.

Try what I like to do when I write, especially when I get stuck. Instead of writing the story chronologically from beginning to end, work your way backwards. It works for me. Sometimes I really do find it a lot easier writing a story like that. You know like I'll write the ending to the story first, then I'll go from there until I either reach the beginning or I get to the point where I have a good idea how I want to do the ending. Either way, it's been written. I don't know if it will work the same for you, but trust me, this method has helped me many times in the past. Either way, don't let that idea that it might be stupid get too much in your mind. More importantly do not let that stop you from writing. Just because you feel it may be stupid shouldn't hinder you. Just write and don't worry how it turns out. Even if it really does turn not so great, it doesn't matter. That's what editing is for. And that comes after you've written something. "Just write" is the best tip I can give you. Whatever comes to mind, write it. Changing it can come later.

I would suggest to observe and read a lot of books. Jot down any ideas which can come into your mind. Try to develop an interesting introduction which keep your readers captivated and interested enough to read the other chapters.

I dont have that much ambition. I guess that I would like to write somehting some day but I dont know when I will take care of that particular issue. I am busy writing to make money. I guess that I will do something to be able to do this.

maybe you didn't make an outline of your story. you have to make notes also even if you're writing fiction. you also cannot hurry the ending. there has to be subplots as well otherwise you'll end up with a short story. if you can't seem to finish it then relax first. you may be having a writer's block.
