The salty beachs are ideal since the pools are kind of dangerous. Also, I think on the beach, u can not only swim, but also enjoy something else.

Well, for the most part, I have always prefered a Swimming pool over a beach or lake, and since we do not have that many places around here that are the safest to swim in anyways, that only leaves the pools. The nicer thing I think about the pools is you can control them to how hot or cold they are, and you know for sure how deep they are, so you can judge a little better whether the water is safer to be in as well.

Its sometimes a problem when you dont have a choice, but in your case a pool is fine, so good on you.

I prefer to swim into a pool rather than an ocean. I know how to swim but I haven't tried my swimming skill on an ocean. I'm so afraid in an open sea. Unlike the pool where there is an end that you can cling on to just in case you get tired. Seas don't have anything like that and I'm afraid I'd get drowned if I swim into the sea. i know it's a lot better to swim into the ocean but my fear of drowning is my concern so I'd rather enjoy swimming into the pool despite the fact that pools might be contaminated with germs and not to mention chlorine.

Well we live by a lake so we don't have the salty water. I love to walk on the beach and play in the waves but for swimming I like a pool better. We usually don't swim in the lake just because we have young children and it isn't safe. We let them splash around in the shallow water and play in the sand but to teach them to swim and to get exercise the pool is better.

Most of my child hood, we all went to the beach. I loved the beach. Then my granparents got a pool. We started using it alot and I loved the pool. Then for years, I hardly went swimming. After I had my son, and brought him to the beach, I was in love with the beach again. I like the beach and the pool equally, but if I actually had to choose, it would be the beach.
