Would you call the POLICE if you cought a friend stealing?

Would you be a good samaritan and call the police or tell the owner of the store idf you caught your friend stealing something right infront of you, or would you atleast tell them i dont want to be friends with you?

Yeah, I would. I mean, first I would try to talk to them and I would hope they would realize that it's wrong, but if that doesn't work, I'd tell someone in the store what happened and tell my "friend" that they maybe need to find someone else to hang out with.
