Hey guys, what would you say about this movie, which starred Will Smith? Anybody of you has watched one?I have watched this movie for like five times. I so admire Chris Gardner. He is one character, although based in true to life, and the fact that he would go as far as anything just to give his son a better life and a better future. I was teary eyed at one point in the movie when they slept in the rest room of a train station. Such a great movie, I must say..

I thought it was a great story and an incredible movie. That man lived a hard life while he was trying to make it, but wasn't it great to see a story about an underdog getting a shot at making a name for himself?? I thought it was very inspiring....and one of the messages I really love about that movie is that the movie makes a very basic statement-"you've got nobody to blame but yourself. IF you fail because you don't try, then that's on you...but if you want something, go after it. Period." I love that message...it's not saying that we need to give handouts to people down on their luck...simply says that anything in life worth having is going to involve struggle...but that the rewards are often worth it in the end. Great movie.

one of my best movies...
great performances from both Will Smith and his son, great on-screen chemistry, great story, it was amazing. It was very emotional, touchy, quite funny at times, and during many scenes you will feel like tears coming from your eyes especially when they sleep in the station bathroom, will smith goes to donate blood and in the end, when he is atlast given a job and his eyes show the pain, the sufferings, the sacrifice and the labor he had. Since its a true story, it intesified my feelings, my emotions...
The great thing about this movie, besides seeking the happyness and the comforts of the life, was the deep love of father towards his son. Inspit of having nothing, he dreams to give his son everything that he, Chris Gardener, hasn't recieved. He wanted to make his son happy, make his son's future brght, see his son winning rather than his own success..
After watching the movie, you will surely go to ur dad and hug him, because very dad do love their child the very same say whether they express it or not...
Love the movie, have watched 4, 5 times in last 4 months.. I will recommend every person, who hasn't seen this movie yet, to go and watch it. you will surely love it.
