Do you choose discussions that you're gonna respond to or not?

Hey people! I really enjoy staying here in Mylot. Do guys choose what discussions you're gonna respond to or hit the very first one that you see on the page? When I was a newbie I just click on every post that I see and respond to it, but now I choose discussions to respond to. There some discussions that I'm not interested to or find it boring so I exit that discussion and find new ones. Do you choose discussions that you're gonna respond to or hit the very first one you see on the page?. Happy posting!!

Yup! I choose discussions that I respond to. I choose the ones I can relate to and I have something to say to. I don't just respond to discussions when I actually have no idea what to say cos I've never experienced it or I can't relate to the topic. It's easier to respond to a discussion when you know you can relate to it, therefore you will be able to express your opinions and point of views better.

For the most part if the discussion is something that interests me then I read it and usually make a comment in the discussion. If I get there and the discussion does not interest me in the slightest then I do not usually bother leaving a comment. It also depends on how much time I have at the moment to make comments. Also, I usually go to my friends' discussions first and reply to their discussions and also rate them positive. (I hope they do the same for me.) Hope that helps you. Have a great day and happy myLotting!!!

I do choose discussions to respond. I don't respond just for the sake of responding. and I always choose those which I find interesting, so that I could also share what's on my mind.

yes i do. i used to choose discussions that i can respond to. discussions that makes me interested with. and that i can relate myself with. because if i will respond to a discussion that i don't even understand, i'll have my brains twisted thinking what to say. happy mylotting!

Yeah, I agree with that. How will you be able to give and contribute a good response if your interest is not in to it?. Thanks for sharing! Happy posting!!

Do you choose discussions that you're gonna respond to or hit the very first one you see on the page? Of course, I only want discussions that make sense, so I have to choose. But, if the first post is great or something that is interesting, then I'll respond.

I choose what discussions to respond to so I can reply with quality post. It is hard to respond to topics that you are not really interested and has nothing to say. I try to view the discussions my friends started and if I ever find some discussion I can respond I would. Same goes with the no responses section. I try to view older post that has no response and if ever I find an interesting one or a topic I know or curious about I would respond. So this means I find your discussion interesting. ;) happy mylotting!

Yeah, I think so too. You will really find it hard to respond to it if you're not really interested with it. Hehehe,. thanks for saying that. ^_^ Happy Posting!!

I normally choose my discussions for the simple reason that I like to be able to add something of value to the ones I participate in. What I mean to say is, I don't go into discussions I know nothing about and respond to them. I might read them through as a learning process but if I feel I have nothing of value to say, then I will come back out and find another, about which I feel I can comment. So, my answer is "Yes, I do choose the discussions I wish to respond to." Brightest Blessings.

That's what I actually do. I don't post over threads that I don't have anything to say. I love to make discussions with intellectual people, men who can exercise their intellect without getting their emotions damaged (at least, in the physical aspect..).. Lol... I'm too serious here hahahaha

Yeah, I agree with that. As much as possible I respond and choose posts that has something you can learn and gain. I choose discussions to respond to because I want my responds to have quality. By choosing a discussion I believe I can do that. Thanks for sharing! Happy posting!!

hi, i chose discussions that i can contribute to and not the 1st one on the pafe. i will always go to my interest to view topics or discussion of interest to me where i would enjoy reading them even if i do not post. aprt from topic of interest, i would also view topics where i feel i can learn from or benefit from, eg, someone shared about 3 things we do not know aboout our cellphones etc. this would increase my knowledge. in short, my objective here in mylot is to learn and be an asset to the community here and not a parasite. no point to me to register and not contribute or make use of the forum to gain knowledge. we come from all over the world and coming into this forum to share and we can pick up from others what we do not have.

i choose what dicussions that i can actually contribute in and make a good response to. but sometimes when i am bored i will look through the discussions and pick a couple, but if i dont know anything on the topic i wont respond to them, like today alone i saw some topics on rap music and since i dont listen to it or like it i wont post on them because my response really wouldnt be apart of the discussion of it.

I try to only respond to discussions that I have an honest interest in. I go through the various ways of finding new discussions, and then the pick the ones that I believe that I can contribute the most to. That is how I choose to do it. :)

HI AltheGreat2430, Of course I CHOOSE. I think we ALL CHOOSE. Few would really answer every single discussion he or she sees in that order. For anyone, I would think there are only a handful of discussions that they can answer and want to answer. Cheers!

I choose the ones that catch my eye. Some are just not my thing, everyone is different after all. I like the variety of topics here and have yet to find times that there was nothing to do. Sometimes the one with no responses is pretty cool as well!

Yes I do choose what I will respond to as there are some discussions I have no answers for and others that just do not interest me. I do sometimes go through the no responses area just to try and give responses for people who are not getting any help because I know what that is like but I do not just answer any discussion I see.

Do you choose discussions under your own interests? How do you find the no responses discussions? Are they worth not responding? Thanks for sharing! Happy posting !!

of course i look for discussions where i can actually contribute... to do otherwise would be like walking through the mall and just eaves-dropping on every conversation you hear, and just saying something like "yep, that's a good idea" i try to keep adding friends who post topics that i have an interest in, add new interests every so often... that way my home page pretty much shows a morning's worth of things i feel comfortable adding to, without really searching too much i understand that in the beginning, people come here thinking they can just make a ton of money - but when you realize that it is so much deeper than that, you decide to get really involved, and then the money you earn each day is more like a bonus than a goal!

I generally look to see what's being responded to the most just to see what everyone is thinking about. I search through my interests and through the discussions my friends have started. This one was in one of my interests and I thought it was a fun discussion to join.

For me i choose discussion that i can response usefully..Is quite bad to random response..with yes or no and right or wrong..though u not very sure what the discussion is about..That is where the interests come from. So normally i just respond to those that i feel i can able to response it well.
