What is the point of myLot's "Unresolved" tab in one's discussion list?

Okay, this is probably one of those obvious answers but how do you resolve your discussion? When I go to my discussions and hit "unresolved", it is just a list of discussions I have started. So, what is the difference between hitting "unresolved" and "started"? Is there a way to resolve one's discussions? I re-checked to make sure I answered anybody that commented on my discussion and that doesn't resolve it so ...

Obviously, the unresolved category here in mylot community houses the discussions which one has created but he or she has not yet picked or marked the best response from all the replies the discussions have received. In comparison, the started category is composed of all the discussions you have created while the unresolved does not include the discussions which you have marked with 'best response' already. These two categories might have the same number and contents of discussions if and only if you haven't marked any reply with 'best response'; even if you have added a comment to all the replies you received. Eventhough I've been with mylot for more than a year now, I'm not quite sure but I do feel that adding a comment and resolving your own discussions by choosing the best response gives you additional earnings, too; aside from replying to other's discussions. I myself have a lot of unresolved discussions but I have my own criteria before choosing the best response, and in particular, I am waiting to receive at least eight replies for every discussion I make, even if this takes more than a year. Anyway, I hope this helps.

this is where you can choose the best response to your discussion. look by the persons names and it says something like "choose as best response" once you give someone a best response, that discussion will no longer be in your unresolved discussions. i usually wait about a week before giving out best responses.
