Do you always lock your doors?

i live in the city so i have grown up to always lock the door and make sure that the door is locked. nothing bad ever happened in my family but still i have that precaution to lock the door and at night i always make sure that all the doors are locked, even if i am stepping outside of the house to check the mail i make sure that the door to the first floor is locked. it may be an OCD with me but i would rather be cautious and do it then something actually happening if i didnt.

My doors are always closed from inside.I am in an apartment and don't liked to be peeped at from the other residents.Secondly I feel safe with my door closed.

I always lock my doors. You just cannot be too safe, ever. So, whenever I have to go somewhere, I lock my doors. I make sure my door is shut at all times and I always double check the main doors too. You can never believe that no one will ever come in and take your stuff or do other things.

I always lock my doors. Sometime even with an extra lock. I am a person who takes good care of my stuff and will get really mad if someone stole them...

Hello apples99 Yes I alwyas lock my doors at night time and they are usually locked during the day when I am inside too because I am usually upstairs and wouldn't hear someone if they came in through the back and also I don't have to worry about my 3 year old getting out. I wouldn't be able to sleep at night if I didn't lock my doors!

Ofcourse, better safe then sorry i'd say. In our society today, there is a lot of crime and its so common that it can even happen when you are home, so having the doors locked is just the smart thing to do!

i always try to close the door but once i did forget to lock the door at night.by some providence nothing happened.it is not safe here to leave the door open.

Blame it on my mom's paranoia. We always have the doors locked. better to be safe than sorry. You'll never know when this can actually save your life.

We never forget to lock the main gate and the front doors for safty reasons.The cities as well as in the country sides are not free from crimes.As statistics shows it is in an increasing trend.Although expenditure on police administration has increased many fold the criminal activities are increasing every year and the police in rare cases get success to chase the culprits.In many cases it is heard that the police have hands with the criminals for which they are doing crimes and the police never bother to find out the clue.So I think better to take all precautionary measures to protect our lives and property. So as a first step towards our safety we must lock our doors and keep a vigilant eye on it.thanx.

I always lock my doors, whether I'm at home or not. I just feel safer if they are locked. I prefer not to take any chances on this matter. I don't want anything to happen.
