There is nothing I love more then to make my boys laugh which I'm sure is the same for most parents. I would like to know...
What shameless humiliating ploy do you use to make your kids laugh?
*I like to pretend I'm not looking at them but looking around them and behind them and then when I finally look at them they explode into excited giggles (not exactly embarrassing but it works every time) Dancing works too.

I also love hearing my daughter laugh... just pretending to drop on the floor will make her explode to a giggle fit... tickling her also helps... but most of the time... when we are watching a cartoon... there are some scenes where she would just laugh out loud... and for us adults... it is not even funny...

I'll have to try the falling on the floor bit, I might even laugh if I saw someone do that=-D

My husband is excellent at this.
He does things like pretend to be a girl - shaking his head as if he has long hair, fluttering his eyelashes and pouting his lips.
Or he can do his silly voices.
All of this is helped especially when they practice putting makeup on by using him as their test subject - he looks like a transvestite Frankenstein.
Funny, you have no idea! It makes me fall off my chair I'm laughing so much.

i dance like a moron and sing like an idiot. i act like strange characters like a pirate or a dog or whatever i can think of. my 2 year old loves all of them she also likes to be chased around the house. we act like monsters and try to scare her but she just laughs at us for being the dumbies that we are. our 2 1/2 month old is just starting to do the laughing thing, she likes peek a boo and strange noises.
