I don't care much when other myloters leave one line responses to my discussion's, but sometimes I do wonder why they didn't try to put a little more thought in to there responses, but I'm mostly just grateful for there responds, and I'm happy that they took the time to read and respond to my topics, and I understand that sometimes there isn't much to say because its already been said, but I do try to give a detailed responses, but anyway. do you care when other myloters leave one line responses to your discussion's?

I appreciate everyone who adds a response to my discussions. I'm happy to have those responses, but it does make me sad when someone only adds one line, because I think they will not have earned anything from it. I don't know, of course, how earnings are worked out, but from reading the guidelines I always thought we don't get paid for brief responses. At the side of each response box, underneath where it says your response, there is a line asking Please be as descriptive as possible. I think this means we should always say why we agree or disagree, and share our thoughts. Every discussion seems to have some one line answers, and some people always use abbreviations and short forms of words. If they wrote out the full words, they could earn more money for adding longer responses.

That's true mylot dose request that we be as descriptive as possible, but what if there isn't anything else to say, I dont want to have to babble on just to post more words, but when ever the topic calls for a detailed responds I always try to give as much detail as I can, and when it comes to other myloters I'm just happy they took the time to view my topics, and by the way thanks for responding.

I try not to babble in my responses so I don't respond to a discussion if it only requires a quick answer - unless it's a question about how to do something on the myLot website. I try to encourage people to respond with their own experiences to my discussions, so they can give a descritptive response.

Depends, on whats the discussion, if its a boring discussion, nobody would make more than 3 lines, but if its interesting, the person says more than 3 lines, i hope you understand now. Happy mylotting!

Yes I understand very well, and thats true, it dose depend on how interesting the discussion is and if the topic calls for a more detailed responds.

As long as a person gets their point across it should not really matter how many sentences it takes to get there. It can be quite annoying when people stretch their answers out just to earn that extra bit of money. I do read the topic posters words, sometimes they do not give you enough to respond to though.

Yea if they reply to my discussions with one liner definitely i would but then i cannot go and tell them that you could have added some more lines by adding some more stuffs , we cannot compel someone as to me , they feel that they want to be crisp in their responses and i feel that though being crisp they need to earn more from here , if i had been put in such situations i seldom reply with a one liner , instead i try to avoid such discussion where i cant really input my opinion properly..

I enjoy reading all the responnses I get long or short. Some of the best I have received are the short ones. They may not pay the person all that well, but answered the question I needed the answer for. Short answers are not always a bad thing.

Hello Apples. For my part, I also don't care much about it. Mostly they would just leave any kind of response to the discussions they choose and go to another discussion just for the sake of accumulating earnings. But honestly, I am also thankful for people who spend a bit of their time looking through and reading my discussions. It's already a big thing for me.

I prefer that MyLotters leave 3 to 4 sentences on my discussions and on topic. Everytime I respond to a discussion even if the question could be answered with a yes or no, I make it a point that after answering the question, I put some explanations on my answer.

I do not mind if response to my discussion is just one liner. It is the choice of the member who is responding to my discussion how he wants to respond. Some times it is quite possible that the member is not able to contribute much to the topic which I have posted. In such case, if the member gives just one line response it is enough for me that he has taken that much time to read and spend some time on my topic. However, when I respond to someone's topic, I try to give elaborated reply. Only in rare cases I give one line response. I feel that sometimes only one line response is only possible if you fully agree with some other member's post.

Hi Apples, I guess it depends. If it's a simple question like 'what's your favorite color' or something similar, I don't think I'm able to elaborate further. If it's something that requires explanation, then it will definitely be more than one line!

I really never thought about it. See there you are making me think LOL I guess I would rather they elaborated, making the discussion more interesting. You know, really it's their loss as far as money goes because the discussion starter doesn't gain by replying to responses but the responder does. Have a nice night!

Hello apples99 I think that some people just give one liners because all they want to do is get their post amount up. Sometimes I do give one liners but that is because that is all it needs or is more humourous to do so!

n0pe,i don't care at all. it's their prerogative as to how many words or lines they will use in answering to my response.what matters is that they gave attention to my post. and i appreciate them for doing that. i'd appreciate more if they elaborate further on their answer, for interaction purposes.happy mylotting!

I think, it's just fine as long as it makes sense. Anyway, we can't force them to post a lot. Maybe, they're always in a hurry, that's why they can only make 1 line of post.

no i don't. the length of the responses are always up to the mylotters. if they have a lot to share then i highly appreciate if they post long responses. well, if they have nothing to, what's the point of making it long when they really have nothing to say? lol.

Well, personally it would be nice when people respond to respond back with more than one line, or just a couple of words, but then sometimes these could be many of the New people coming in here thinking it will help their earnings some. But we have all learned in here, you make the most being active in here, and posting back ro Newer discussions in here with a longer amount as a resonse as well.

Yah I never mind if they write a one line response or a detailed response. I feel good with the responses. The quality of the response matters to me more than the quantity. It also depends on the information, they provide. If they do not have much knowledge about the topic of discussion, their response is short. If they a deeper knowledge they would respond in detail. So it really does matter for me.

No, not really. I would be more glad because they gave time to check one of my discussions and react to it. As long as it relevant to my discussions and wrote understandable, I will appreciate it and would rate +

There are one-liners that are brief, concise and direct to the point, adding more sentences may destroy the quality of the post, so just like you I don't mind one-liners, as long as they're substantial. It's actually much much better than 10 sentences with no substance at all. And you're right, I'm already thankful that they took the time in reading my posts and try to give their honest responses as well. Details are very much welcome but I don't force mylotters to give it all to me. Happy mylotting!
