My Teacher Humiliated Me!!

I remember when I was in College, a person I know dropped out from school because his professor made him stand up and was told that he will FAIL the subject. My English professor in College, had an experience in his college days when his professor humiliated him for giving the wrong answer because of this, whenever he hears the wrong answer from his students, he just doesn't stop calling somebody until somebody gets the right answer.
To all of you guys, have you had any similar experience? How did you handle it? If you don't, do you know anybody close to you who has had this experience? If this happens to you, would you be strong enough to prove yourself or just shy away?

They're not just professionals. But there's also an added adjective to that title. RESPECTED PROFESSIONALS. They're not suppose to that. It's as if they've never went through being a student. I myself have been to that situation. Lucky the people whom you know who've been to that situation. Me, I was humiliated in front of the whole population. It was really devastating. since that day, it made me realize that not everyone in a good looking uniform is respectable. They can be as dirty as the beggars i see on the streets.

I think I have similar experience. It was back 10 years ago.
Our teahcer always ask the students a question and if we can't answer it, we cannot sit down as the consequences.
I have been standing for 2 hours because of wrong answer before.
I think this is the best way for the teacher to make the student more concerntrate in the studies.

I had some humiliating experience from my history teacher... she is a good person... but she just cannot help but humiliate students from time to time... but since i was in college like more than 10 years ago... i cannot remember any of those humiliating situations... i just remember one time when she did that and i fired back at her... from then on... she never humiliated me ever again...

I haven't got this kind of experience yet. The furthest i get are just teases from my lecturers and my teacher...mainly because of my size...and those were good and friendly teases..(not the bad ones used to make people cry)
I am a bloke with over 6 feet tall and more than 220 pounds....i think any lecturers or teachers who wish to make fun or humiliate me will have to think twice before doing that....
ps: if you see me around, don't me intimidated by my size...i'm a friendly and easy-going person....honest!!!
